They are now 40-25 and won 7 straight, do you think this will continue? Will they dominate?

As I Cavs fan I always hold out hope but I think the team coming out of the West will be tough to beat. I'd like to see the Cavs make at least the conference finals and maybe the NBA finals just to increase the playoff experience. Then I'd like to see them get a proven point guard and power forward.

A championship would be a stretch, unless something goes wonky in June, but a conferance championship is not out of the Cavs' range. I think they are worse than the Heat and Pistons, but not by much, and with the east as weak as it is anything can happen. I have a hard time seeing any east team beating the west champion (whoever it is), with the possible exception of Detroit, if they get lucky.

If James can stay healthy and focus more on basketball than posing for magazines, I think they are alegitimate contenders for the title. James has not been as consistent he was last season. He is still talented, but he has to prove that by winning, which the Cavs actually are. I just hope this continues and that James will focus more on his game. He has to know that without him, the Cavaliers will be any other team.
The Cavaliers transform themselves when they are in the playoffs, as we've seen last year. They are more serious. When they make it there, I see them making a good playoff run. Remember, I said IF James can stay healthy.

Never going to happen. Look at it this way, everybody says Labron needs to step it up. Doesn't matter. How many did he score against Dallas? Like 38 right? Still lost. The point is, you have to have a TEAM, not a one man show. They don't have the supporting cast to be Great like a team like Dallas or Phoenix or even Detroit. You have to have more than just a superstar, you have to have a TEAM that plays well together. So it's definately not going to happen this year, maybe in the near future but they need somebody else to take all the pressure off Labron.

there best chance is in the regular season, if they can beat detroit for the number one spot (by this time miami would have won the south east and be numbet two) they will play a weak orlando team, maimi will play a weak new jersey, toronto will play washington, and detroit would have to play chicago.

after that it will be cavs vs toronto/washington, but miami will play detroit (as you can see cavs are still fresh for the final four) then cavs play miami (who is more tired becuase of detroit) if they can get past miami they will play a west team that is probably much more tired becuase of the level of compitition in the west, its a long shot but they may win it

this all changes if they cant beat detroit, then they are the fourth seed and have to get through first chicago, then miami then detroit and each time they will be more tired than there opponents, it is much less likely if they cant get the number one seed

the entire season, lebron was holding off, he did explode the last games!
taking charge of the team, playing like we all know he could!
leading the cavs to maybe a 55 wins seasn!
but to win the championchip, let me, see, if you want to look at it, i see them in the 2nd spot, detroit, for this season, are the better team, look how they did defeat the suns!
so, cavs shall meet up with nets, then, miami! then detroit if all wne well! and they do not have yet, the power to do damges to west teams in a 7games serries!
be ready, to see some epic battles this year in the playoff!

when u have a guy like lebron on ur team, anything is possibel!
logicly, i can not see that!
emotinly, i wish cavs lakers in the finals!
wow!
lebron and kobe!we can see then who is the best out there!
peace!

They have a chance but not a big chance! They are up against the likes of Miami, Toronto, Detroit, Washington and Orlando and I don;t see them beating a team like Washington!

Even if they make it to the finals, can they really beat Detroit, Phoenix, Dallas , Houstan, San Antonio, Utah, Denver or the Lakers? I don't think so.

The answer is no. Lebron has to step up his game more and has been inconsistent this year. Also they haven't really gotten him the qualtiy help he's been asking for these past few years. They are a couple players away from having a real shot. Especially at center.

this year they can have the shot for the east finals, but i think give them a 3 to 4 years.. they can be a championship team.. need a new young talented center..

Maybe they have a chance to win the eastern conference but it won't be easy with teams such as detroit and miami
