The Dallas Mavericks. They look unstoppable and probably have the deepest bench in the NBA which is very important come playoff time.

Detroit Basketball the west will tire each other out the competition is to good in the west, so by the time the get to the finals the legs will be gone from all the 6/7 game series. Its not r fault the east is so weak this year. For all the D haters there is no team in the East deeper than us Dallas may be the only team in the league deeper. We KILLED them once already in Dallas, but we'll c tomorrow when we play them again. San Anton is looking good but dont think they can take the west. In all honesty the only team that can beat us in a 7 game series is Utah they got us the last four. So i'm rooting 4 ne 1 but them. Detroit Basketball.

I believe, when healthy, the Lakers(65 points from Kobe againt the Blazers 8 hours ago) will go deep into the playoffs but will probably be beaten by the hungry Mavs. The revived Pistons(beat the Suns by 22 points just 10 hours ago) and Heat(9 straight wins without Dwyane Wade) are also close to winning the title this year. My predictions, Mavs against Piston, Mavs wins in 6 games

A west team for sure! Did you see how the west pounded the east in the All-star game!
The favourites are Dallas and Phoenix and San Antonio with a chance too! But we saw how Detroit can win games!
I'm betting on Phoenix! Nash, Stoudamire, Marion and Barbosa are just good! My second bet is on Detroit!

id like to say the Mavs, cause theyre playing so well this year (minus the past 3 games - 2 losses and a close win against te celtics)
part of me though believes there is too much pressure on them, and i think it will hurt them int he end. they win so many games and theyre expected to win, i think the pressure will affect them.
look for the playoff experience teams to get through, the Spurs and Heat are lookin very dangerous at the moment...in the end i think its going to be experience that will determine who will make it to the finals....spurs, mavs, heat, pistons

ill have to go with an east team, cleveland or detroit. mavericks are the biggest choke artists in major sports, and if you live in dallas, youll realize they arent that good. phoenix has the offense but not that defense. san antonio hasnt been the typical spurs this year. detroit has one of the best, if not the best, defenses. and cleveland has an extremely balanced offense and defense, when they wanna try. easten conference finals looks to be great this year.
