Why does it seem like individual March Madness brackets on Yahoo are always the last to reflect results? The first round games ended last night, and many brackets still do not reflect the result. Seems like a very screwy way for Yahoo to do this. Why wouldn't they program the pages to just update automatically?

you are correct. it takes them very long to update. now they have given users up to 5 brackets to play. think about it. if there are 250,000 people submitting brackets (just made that number up) then multiply that by five, and there are that many brackets to update. my guess is that there are just too many to update in real time. i think the also do the 'fans of' brackets prior to the rest.

cbssportsline has one that updates as soon as a game ends. sad cuz i get to see my losses INSTANTLY.

duke sucks, go tarheels!!!!!!!!

When your bad your bad. Yahoo definitely doesn't have the quality of programmers who can do the job. Need I say not Yahooooooooooo. That's why I don't use their service. It isn't up to par with the best.
