In my opinion, Lebron James. At least he can be. Right now Kobe is the best but I believe when Lebron tries to score he is unstoppable. Lebron can break down a D and score whenever he wants. His jumper is coming along so he will force you to play him on the perimeter and he will blow by you and finish with explosive dunks. Through the season, Lebron has been inconsistent but is better than Kobe in the 2nd half of this year but Kobe got him the 1st half. Also, Lebron is a great passer and Kobe chooses not to pass as much and Lebron has a better shot slection than Kobe who shoots whenever he feels like it.Therefore, Lebron is better than Kobe for now at least.

kobe has games where he is So much better than Michael Jordan, and he has games where he is about the same as micheal jordan. for example some of the shots he hit last night, MJ could never make ALL of them withought missing like he did, i'm not saying MJ sucks, he is probably the greatest of all time. but Kobe has more talent i believe

kobe is dominant, but he isnt the greatest! he doesnt pass the rock! he is not a very good romodel to look up to, he cheats on his wife, and doesnt pass, i hate going to the ymca or somewhere and seeing kids with kobe jerseys on and they hog the ball, i admit he is very good but people like michael jordan make the people around him better, i think right now steve nash is the best BASKETBALL player. he doesnt have flashy dunks or anything but he makes everyone around him better, remember when he was injured? the suns went 1-4 i think or something like that, steve nash is the best most valuble player (i do know i spelled valuable wrong i dont know how to spell lol)

if you guys are talking about leadership and scoring,

D-Wade and Lebron are good but they are still young and I believe that they can be better than KB.

Also, Nash's passing is incredible
