I mean he won all those tittles where there were at most 14 teams in the league. There 9 teams total his first few rings. Imagine playing against teams like Memphis like 20 times a year and only having like 2 series in the playoffs to win it all. Factor in the fact that he played with like 3 or 4 top 50 guys.

Wow, Ohio State is living on miracles... Memphis will put a hurting on them...agree or disagree?? My 2 picks (before all this started) to be there at the end were Memphis and Georgetown...how are your picks/teams looking?

Did anybody call him a ballhog? Nobody made a peep about what he did. Why do so many people make a big deal about Kobe scoring so much? He is phenomenal, unlike his team. What do you expect him to do?

omg, that is possibly the scariest game for all ohio st. fans. I don't intend to trash ohio st. or anythin like that, but Tennessee has a 24-11 record and ohio st. barely beat them.......whoa.....scary. if i was an ohio st. fan that game would probably give me a heart attack.

Even Michael Jordan said he is better, MIchael Jordan said today after kobe scored 50+ in 3 games in a row, he could have never done that. SO PLEASE SHOW SOME RESPECT, YOU THINK THOSE SHOTS ARE EASY? MY GOD, HOW MUCH MORE DOES KOBE HAVE TO PROVE THAT HE IS THE GREATEST, I don't even have a word to describe Kobe, HE IS INCREDIBLE!

how is noone else seeing this? the whole second half's calls went to ohio...half of their points were from the line...oh, and when ohio still couldnt pull it off with 6 seconds left...the ref gives them a desparation foul...where was that same call on the other end with 2.3 to go? im not even a tennessee fan, but when sportscasters dont point out stuff like that i get annoyed. what do ya'll think?

I am a Gophers fan and was totally surprised by this hire. I never even heard his name mentioned before it happened. I was glad to see a "big name" coach come to take over the team, but, honestly know little details about Smith. I'd like to hear opinions on him from those familiar with his career. Will he help recruiting? He's GOT to be better that Monson was right?

I say he looks like he's 35-40. I cannot believe that kid is 19. I don't think I've ever seen a teenager's face look that old. The only guy I can think of that came close was Patrick Ewing when he was on Georgetown.

And does he ever smile or show emotion? He's just got that one serious/concerned look on his face all the time.

I don't like the face that a Division-Winner does not get home -field advantage vs. non-div winner, hence2006-07 NFL WildCard(Dallas Cowboys 10-6 on road @Seattle(Div. winner) 9-7,1st round). This season, the NBA changed from top 3 seeds going to Division winners, to not finishing lower than 4.

No call at the end of the Vols game. No flagrant on Oden at the end of this one. Why the hell do the Buckeyes need the Refs to keep bailing them out of these games?

I am a die-hard NHL,NFL,MLB, and NBA fan. But when it comes to single-loss elimination, especially amongst humble, but enthused kids playing their hearts out. I think it's the ultimate sports high...*Hmmm,wonders what the BCS is thinking*...I think it ranks amongst the ultimate sports high..What do U think?

hmm another round of kobe bashing. lets give some stats here before i answer... FG attemps per game--Melo- 23.5 Kobe-21.4, A.I-21.2, Arenas-21.2, Allen-21.0, James-21. Yet unaimously kobe is voted the biggest ballhog? lets go further- FG%---MELO- 47.7 Kobe-46.5 A.I-43.9 Arenas-42.1 Allen-43.8 James-47.8. Hmmmm is kobe really that bad.... i have alway thought that A.I was bad. i saw A.I go 7 for 46 in a game agenst boston in '02 THAT my friends is ballhogging, oh he also only had 2 asst that game. But I would truely have to say that Arenas in the worst...FACTS are that (since the benchmark seems to be kobe i will compare the two in the seemingly ball hog catagories) FGA per game Kobe- 21.4 Arenas 21.2, almost even- FG% kobe46.5 arenas-42.1, big advange to kobe, asst per game kobe 5.6 arenas-6.0 almost even and TO's both tied at 3.4. Statisticly speaking arenas is the biggest ballhog, but then again Kobe is the most hated player in the game and that must count for something right? read the stats before you judge you kobe haters. If jordan scored 81 points in a games and had 4 assts and 4 TO's would you call him a ballhog? not a chance. Gotta love all you Kobe haters!
