ramar was fouled, but since OSU gave the refs hummers before the game, we know hy they won

im a die hard fan and i wouldnt say we got robbed simply because we owned this game and then failed to play defense in the second half. I like that the first guy said the refs let the players decide the game?!?! If that was the case they wouldnt call a bump foul with 6 seconds left and the game tied. That isnt letting the players decide the game.

I agree that Tennessee has no one to blame but themselves. Im just mad that we would have had a great shot to make the final four because we beat memphis by 27 earlier in the year. It was of course at home, but at least we knew we could play them.

Oh well life goes on. Basketball is the worst for referees being such a factor in the game, because every single call is a judgement call. You just have to be able to overcome it. I was pissed about that call at the end and some other no calls, but hey, Tennessee just didnt do enough to get it done

Robbed?? Tennessee coughed up a 20 point lead. It shouldn't have even come down to the last 6 seconds. I'm a fan of neither, but why not drive the lane and get to the line to stop the Ohio State run?
The refs let the players decide the games, I like that, not like the NBA when the refs decide the games. I think everybody's too used to NBA games when stars live at the line over 'touch' fouls.

I think fans should quit whining about the officials. This is getting ridiculous.

Both teams have a full 40 minutes to put the other guys away. There's no excuse for losing a game in which you build a 20 point lead... none whatsoever.

And, btw, the refs were absolutely correct in the Memphis game on that play with 3 seconds left...but I covered that in another question.

Quit whining about the refs, all you losers out there! If you're going to blame anyone, blame your own players, none of whom shoots 100% from the field OR from the line.

Tennessee thought the game was over when they were up by 20... they should have built the lead to 30 or 40, instead of waiting for the last 20 minutes to run out on the clock.

Tennessee deserved to lose that game. They robbed themselves by blowing a 20 point lead.

Whenever there is a discrepancy at the free throw line you have to wonder what's going on. But let's be honest they not only blew a 20 pt lead but Oden didn't do squat really. And if the calls aren't going your way its the players who have to adapt to the way the refs are calling the game. Bottom line, Tenn gave it get away.

GO UCLA.

Ohio State is the "charmed" ones this season. I believe that they and Wisc. were over hyped/ranked. Unfortunately due to their ranking, especially OSU, does get away with the fouls. This seems to happen every year with different teams...

seriously, did you watch the first half, i thought for most of the game Billy Packer went to Tennessee. Tennessee was up 20 you can't blame a thing on the officials. :)

oh for cryin out loud im an oregon fan and i heard the same crap all football season when oregon beat oklahoma... blah blah blah. they'res good and bad calls in every game. they all even up at the end. if you play well enought in general you will wind up victorious. sometimes you get a bad call, live with it for gods sake. believe me my team gets many more bad calls than it deserves and you dont see us goin around whining about and saying that i costs us the game. calls are what they are and good basketball will always prevail. so sorry about your bad luck, better luck next year.

Robbed, huh?? Any team that blows a 20-point lead really has no one to blame but themselves.
