I was good at defense. when we played a box in one I was usually the one. I could run all day long. When you practice shooting, don't just shoot a casual shot. shoot like someone is chasing you,fast shooting, one after another. you don't get to many casual shots in a game, most of your shots are under pressure,fast paced shots. try running in water, nothing deep just like 3 ft. or 4 ft. and run laps. builds massive streghnth. good luck
