1. Dirk - only cause his team is the best in the L at the moment. Dirk has matured into a true star in the L and is putting up amazing stats. about 27ppg, 10 boards. 50% from the field and 90% from the FT line are VERY STRONG STATS. unless the mavs and Dirk slip up...i think he is very deservant of the award.

2. Nash - i dont care what anyone says. nash has brought out the best in Amare and Marion. not the other way around. since Nash has been there the two mentioned players have become legitimate stars. let us not forget that the past 3 years (all of which Nash has been on board) the suns have been pacific champs. had it not been for crucial injuries to Amare (last year) and Johnson (year before), they could very well have been nba champs.

3. Lebron - single handedly carrying the Cavs each and every game. a legitimate triple double threat. can do everything on the floor.

4. Kobe - has accepted his roll as a team leader. no longer the selfish player everyone has criticised him for. has showed a lot of maturity, leading one of the poorer teams into playoff contention. hes scoring sprees dont hurt his chances either.

5. Arenas - offensive powerhouse in the L. has put up some good number for the wizards. working well with his other 2 stars, but is the clear cut all star on this team. recent shooting slumps hurt his chances though

1. Dirk Nowitzki- great record and 3 different win streaks of 12+ including a 41-4 winning run, the best for a 45 game span in NBA history

2. Kobe Bryant- if you were to trade Kobe for Steve Nash straight up, the lakers would be garbage and the Suns would be top in the league with Kobe averaging a triple double

3. Steve Nash- great player and facilitates the best offense in the NBA

4. Gilbert Arenas- Hibachi

5. Deron Williams- average the second most assists in the league and makes Utah great, even when boozer was hurt. He has essentially the same case as Nash for MVP.

1.Steve Nash- he is going for three in a row he gets in my 5 automatically
2.Dirk Nowitzki- The mavs are rocking and he is def there most valuable player he does so much for that team they would not be all so great without him
3.Lebron James- How is he not in ur list he is amazing end of discussion he is bringing his team up very nicely and he is taking charge as he should do
4.Gilbert Arenas- He is there team.....
5.Kobe Bryant- He is also there team and he is just so talented

Tracy might have made mine but he is only valuable when he is not injured which seems to be more often than not also i think Carmelo Anthony is doing really good this year all he needed was a little help and he got it from AI and now he is showing us what he can do

1. Dirk ( number one record) and they cant win with him
2. Kobe Bryant ( he is the only reason L.A. is even in the playoffs)
3. T.Mac ( with Yao's injury, he steped it up and kept Houston winning. When he was out, ooohhh lord did houston suffer)
4. Nash( he's good so i'll put him on my list, but I really so not think that a person can be MVP with 2 all stars surrounding him)
5. Lebron ( the Cavs would be nothing without this guy. Rememeber how they were without him)

I'm pretty sure that Dirk has the award in the bag as long as the Mavs show up to games for the rest of the season.

2. nash-he's just awesome, makes everybody better

4. Tmac
5.Kobe- his team just isnt good enough
