Did anybody call him a ballhog? Nobody made a peep about what he did. Why do so many people make a big deal about Kobe scoring so much? He is phenomenal, unlike his team. What do you expect him to do?

And I'm so sick of you people saying that the other players suck. Isn't Andrew Bynum the same player who the Lakers rejected trade offers for Jason Kidd? It's not their fault their GM didn't want to bring in some scoring.

Maybe. But Kobe needs to shoot and attack for Luke to get those open attempts. Kobe is a shooting guard, not a point guard. Most shooting guards look to score over the pass, as the role of the shooting guard is to score. Kobe does a fair balance. Walton would rather distribute then score anyway, as that's the niche he fills for the Lakers.

Same reason as above. Also, Kobe's been shooting over 50% in the past couple games. When a person is shooting that hot, you don't pass the ball. It's the golden rule of basketball; feed the hot man the ball.

And what superstar doesn't occasionally shoot over two guys? If all it took to deter a superstar from taking a shot was the approach of a double team, they wouldn't be superstars.

Hey...If you score 50pts you hogged the ball, unless you are a scorer that runs off screens and shoots like Rip Hamilton or Reggie Miller. Most ball hogs are asked to be ball hogs because a guy that can go off for 50 pts puts more butts in the seat than an all around player. Since the Lakers aren't going to win the Title this year they have to keep Hollywood interested some how!
