I don't like the face that a Division-Winner does not get home -field advantage vs. non-div winner, hence2006-07 NFL WildCard(Dallas Cowboys 10-6 on road @Seattle(Div. winner) 9-7,1st round). This season, the NBA changed from top 3 seeds going to Division winners, to not finishing lower than 4.

No, I don't think they should re-seed but just because you win you division you shouldn't get a higher seed than a team with a better record.....!!!!!

lol there is nooooooooooo way the winner of a weak or God-awful division should be awarded home court over someone in a strong division.

The winner of the Atlantic division this year, or the Northwest last year, got all the perks they could hope for by being guaranteed a playoff spot. It's bad enough that a sub-.500 team could potentially make the playoffs (ala Atlantic division this year before Toronto went on a roll); don't compound the problem by giving them homecourt too.

Give them a playoff bid; after that, all bets are off: team with better record gets home-court.

Next thing you know you'll have some team barely scratching .500 playing host to a league powerhouse. Nuh uh. The best teams get homecourt.

As for the re-seeding, perhaps they should do it after the 1st round, 'cause as it stands now, you could still potentially get an all-time classic 7-game war in the 2nd round, instead of in the conference finals, like last year.
