In my 25 or so years of watching the tournament I've never seen a team have two nailbiters in the early rounds like this and still win it all, so I think it's safe to say OSU won't go all the way. I've seen UCLA escape by one in the 2nd round then roll the rest of the way to a title. I've seen UNLV beat Ball St. by 2 in the 16 before bombing Duke by 30 in the final, but I haven't seen 2 escapes like this from an eventual champ. They could be the first, but I doubt it. Third time's the charm and Memphis will probably be the team to do it. I picked Louisville (hey, took a shot), but my other 3 are still alive. This was not the year to pick cinderellas!

Haha, Luckeyes, nice one (no sarcasm here). But I don't think it's luck. Even though their production declines when Oden struggles, they hang tight. And despite his struggles today, they came back. The Vols shouldn't have gotten lazy. They could've finished them if they came out with the energy and ferocity that they had in the first half. That crazy coach of theirs should've pumped them up more.
Now for your other questions. At this time, I gotta disagree with you. If their win today motivated them, they'll beat Memphis. But if they think like you, and think that they're just lucky, they won't beat Memphis.
My picks are doing great, thanks for asking. And how are yours? Really though, my final four teams are still in, so that's good. I chose UCLA, Oregon, UNC, and Ohio St., with UCLA as champs. We'll see what happens.

I agree, they indeed have been lucky, but the name of the game in this tourney is SURVIVE AND ADVANCE, like the late great jimmy valvano said. i do not believe memphis will beat osu, oden has to break out eventually in one of these tourney games. i think osu looses to g-town in nat'l semi-finals and florida beats ucla in the other nat'l semi-final and florida repeats, which was my final four picks before the tourney got under way a week ago.

No way is that luck! It's Oden and the fabulous Buckeyes coming back from twenty down and going all the way! I think they'll pull through against Memphis, but it'll be close.
Go Buckeyes!!!
