Now that it looks like A-Rod will now be the new Mr. May.

Kidding aside, I'm not a huge fan of A-Rod, but I hope he can breakout of his post season slumps. All that talent, but people will always remember his lackluster Octobers. It's sad really.

I just find it so funny that people take the time to write a nasty question about a baseball team that they are not a part of or doing it in the name of their own team, (whom they do not have a part of.) Kind of petty don't you think? Why is there such a need to do fan bashing and/or team bashing?

A-Rod yelling I GOT IT, behind an infielder as he runs behind him. or the Indians marking a bottle of Sugar Water with the words Bug Repellant, and watching it sprayed on a fat sweaty guy. lol GO TRIBE !!!

After all, he is laughing all the way to the bank with his guaranteed contract.

Besides, the Yankees suck - Let's go Indians.

Purely a hypothetical popularity-viewership question. This is not a prediction so try not to take it as a knock. (I already understand that fans of the two teams would follow such a match up.)

of the same reason they lost to the Marlins in '03: Everybody is trying to be the hero and jack one out when they should just try to make solid contact and get a rally going.

I am a die-hard Yankee fan and I am once again embarrassed to see the loss of fundamental baseball.

AROD, please go to the Cubs!!!!

While Joe Torre is very respected and has achieved many things with the Yankees, he's old and tired. I don't think there's any chance of the Yankees winning or getting to a World Series until hes gone. They may reach the playoffs, but thats about it.

The Yankees need somebody with more life. They probably should have made Randolph the coach after the Red Sox catastrophe. Willie on a National League team doesn't fit right. But Torrre is simply too old and lifeless. I think a coach needs to be able to pump some life into the players. And body language is a good way to do that. Joe on the bench looking prime for a spider to make a nice web doesn't do much for the players energy level I think.

Do you think Joe should be told to take a walk?

Phillies already choked a 2-0 advantage to the tired rockies at home, can Jamie Moyer stop the red hot team at Coors (2nd or 3rd best hitter friendly park after the Phillies home of Citizens Bank Park)

Do you think Moyer might pull out a Tom Glavinesque performance (just ask the Mets what happened last Sunday) tomorrow

or not because this is a good "home field" advantage point for the Indians?

what do you think?

Obviously, the Yankees wouldn't even be here if it weren't for him, plus he had one of the greatest seasons of any
Yankee in history. However, will the fans get past his absolutely dreadful performance in the playoffs since he's been on the team? (He looked absolutely lost at the plate tonight, although the bugs didn't help).

I keep on seeing questions about Holiday and Roland and everyone was saying "Holidays two home runs in the playoffs. . . " Post season numbers don't count towards the awards.
