Simply put, those people who think he'll go to the Mets are most likely wrong. There is no place for A-Rod to play with their team, unless the Mets move one of those players. That scenario is unlikely, as both Wright and Reyes are locked up for several years at relatively affordable prices. The Mets will be focused on acquiring starting pitching this offseason, especially since Tom Glavine opted out of his contract and may retire or finish his career elsewhere.

Who said A-Rod is going to the Mets? Hell, who said A-Rod was going ANYWHERE AT ALL? He's never mentioned anything about opting out of his contract....
