Obviously, the Yankees wouldn't even be here if it weren't for him, plus he had one of the greatest seasons of any
Yankee in history. However, will the fans get past his absolutely dreadful performance in the playoffs since he's been on the team? (He looked absolutely lost at the plate tonight, although the bugs didn't help).

it is New York and i'm pretty sure they have a love/hate relationship when it comes to Arod. If he struckout one time they would probably boo, hit into a double play or pop up and they could boo him. Fans or not

Are you serious? If he strikes out or pops out early in the count (in his first at-bat), they WILL boo him. It is New York.. It is pretty much set that he is going to get booed at least once.. maybe more.

I think that the New York sports writers want ARod to fail, so they can write about it the next day. Sure he got them there, but the fans know that he sucks in the playoffs, so they wont have a problem booing him. I hate when fans boo a hometown guy, who carries the team, beacase he is not performing well.. I remember slight boos for LeBron in Cleveland this past playoffs.

not a Yankee fan, yet merely from gazing Yankee -- purple Sox video games adequate to comprehend that any Yankee who's chilly is at risk of be booed and it ends the minute he gets warm. A-Rod grew to become into booed mercilessly (lots to our exhilaration) in June 2006 till he gained a interest with a walk off grand slam. Then it grew to become into Valentine's Day till he hit into the subsequent double play with adult males on base or the subsequent blunders he committed with adult males in scoring place, etc. the customary is all of us not batting .1000 and not fielding .1000 gets booed at comparable time in Yankee Stadium. don't like it, play for the Cardinals or some thing.

I'm tired of hearing people say the yanks wouldnt be in post season without arod. he has been with the yanks 4 yrs and the yanks have been in post season 13 straight years, so we dont him we never needed him, and i for one dont even want him. yes we will boo. he is over paid. over rated. instead of saying the yanks would not have gotten to post season without arod the question should be how many of the last 4 post seasons would the yanks have won if it was not for arod, i cant answer that but i know it couldnt be any worse than 0 for 4

For sure they will

I mean, this guy tears up the seasons, over 150 RBI's and he can't even squeeze a single past the short stop.

So sad!

In Game #3 he needs to go 4 for 4 and win it for them!
