How could you not think of that?! I'm pretty sure that's not the first time it has happened in cleveland at jacobs field, especially in summer 100 degrees days. The indians pitchers knew how to control the bugs and the nats. I am a yankee fan, but the first thing that really disappointed me was to see that a good guy like joba lost control that way, he said that it was all his fault (“They were in front of my face, but I wasn’t the only one that had to deal with it,” he said. “Everybody had to deal with the same thing. They were bad, but they just didn’t show up for me. You can look at it a million ways, but when it comes down to it, we were in the loss column because I didn’t do my job.”) I don't agree. I hate watching Vizcaino, loading the bases and loosing the game, with no bugs running around his neck.

No the bugs were messing with the Hitters mostly, the umpires needed insect repellent more than the players. Joba is a class guy he took the blame when it's obvious the reason the Yankees loss was because nobody could hit the stupid ball.

No, the bugs were a problem for both teams, it just seemed like some of the Yankees players let it bother them more then the Indians players did.

Anti-Yankee fan above me, eh? You know, those guys are no better than bandwagoners. How come nobody bashes on them?
Anyway, the bugs didn't ONLY mess with Joba Chamberlain, but there appeared to me three times the amount of bugs around him than there was Carmona. After the bottom of the 9th, they disappeared.

No, the Yankees are losing for the same reason they lost to the Marlins in '03: Everybody is trying to be the hero and jack one out when they should just try to make solid contact and get a rally going.
I am a die-hard Yankee fan and I am once again embarrassed to see the loss of fundamental baseball.
AROD, please go to the Cubs!!!!

Well the Yankers like playing silly little games on the diamond, like hidden ball tricks and shouting behind infielders catching popups. Dont tell me the fans are mad because they fell for the old Write OFF on a bottle of sugar water trick lol GO TRIBE !!!

The bugs were everywhere.
Lots of people lok for excuses for any team losing a game even if the winning team has the same problem.

No, the Yankees are a bunch of whiny pansies who make an excuse whenever they lose. They played a good game but just weren't as good as the indians. By the way I'm not a Boston fan I just am an anti-Yankee fan.
