Yeah I don't know were people are getting that the bugs are the reason the Yankees lost mainly because they bugs only bothered the Yankees. If anybody payed enough attention, they would have seen the Indians were bothered the same amount too. And you can't say that the Indians are used to those bugs, those bugs usually don't go there and if they do, it's only for a day or two every year.

That was unusual. When I lived in Phoenix, we were at some drag races at Firebird Raceway, they had to postpone the races TWICE in two months due to bug infestations. It is in the desert, they said the lights attracted them I mean, last night in Cleveland was nothing. These bugs were so thick on the ground, people were slipping and falling trying to get to their cars. No exaggeration, I'll never forget it.

Carmona was obviously not all that affected by them, even though they were getting nearly as thick around him as Joba. I say it is another excuse. The guy had a bad series of pitches - all pitchers go through it.
