Ask - I recall seeing the bugs on the Indians players as well. Come up with a better excuse for why your team got beat.

Probably. I watched that game and cheered the bugs on.
I'm an Indians fan and live in northeast Ohio.
Swarms of midges are common at times and I'm glad it happened last night.
I'm also glad there was no insect delay like the snow delays that I saw(from the top row of the upper deck) on Opening Day in April.

I'm sure some Yankee fans are using that today but the Indians had to play with the bugs there too so its not a good excuse. they just couldn't get it done. I'm an Orioles fan (i know we suck) and i cant stand the Yankees but to offer up some help for an excuse - A-rod cant stop choking in the playoffs where is he at? what is he doing when he's at the plate? He's got mvp numbers this year and now he cant hit the broad side of a barn

I am sure some people did, I didn't hear any of the players say that. What is funny to me is that, for some reasons it seemed like everyone forgot that the Indians were up to bat and they had bugs swirling around their faces too. Imagine trying to hit a ball with little bugs in your face! Both teams had to deal with the bug problem, not just the Yankees.

Yea those same bugs allowed only 3 hits from the Yankees and they only bothered the Yankees. You can't blame A-Rod either I wish everyone would get off of A-Rod's back because only 1 Yankee put points on the board last night.

I was there last night and OMG those crazy bugs were bad. I dont know why the Yankees did not ask for a dely. It has happenned before.

Unless those bugs names are Fausto Carmona, Rafael Perez and Travis Hafner-you can't blame the bugs. Those were some kind of Canadian bugs were they not? How about that Southpark song from the movie "Blame Canada"?
