I'm tired of all the Latino Ballplayers, They all seem to have the same names, theres like a 200 Rodriguezs and 300 Gonzales' in the league. Majority of them can't even speak English which hurts the game a lot. I'm not saying the Asian players can speak english, but we don't have enough of them in the league. And the Blacks need to stop playing Basketball and grab a bat and a glove.

"Donnie Baseball" was always a fan favorite for the yankees in the 80s and early 90s he had one of the best gloves ever at 1st base and had a high batting average and i believe at least 1 MVP too bad his back injury made him retire so early anyone think hes got a shot?

I get to as many baseball games that my wallet and wife allow, and I always buy front row seats when I go, regardless of where they are in the stadium. While I've never caught a foul ball or homerun, it annoys the heck out of me when I see, either at the game or on TV, a player from the away team reaching into our stands to make a catch.

Could somone please give me some clarity around the interference rule, and more importantly, do different stadiums have different policies about ejecting fans? If I prevent a player from catching a call that is CLEARLY in the stands, perhaps by blocking the player's mitt or arm, will I get ejected?

BTW - I'm not a white trash White Sox fan - just interested in giving my team a little home field advantage is I was ever called upon to do so !

I'd like to know who you guys think are the best baseball broadcasters currently in the business. Only the national ones (Fox, ESPN, TBS), since not everyone's had the chance to listen to a Vin Scully or Bob Uecker.

For play-by-play, I'd have to go with Jon Miller. Sure he goes off on tangents a lot, but he knows the game and has a good voice. Color guys...well, Morgan and McCarver both suck. I know he hasn't done much yet, but Tony Gwynn did some games for ESPN the last few years, and is going to call the NLCS later in the year. I remember he did a good job, I'd go with him.

If the game is tied after 9 innings, and the pitcher is taken out, does he get credited with a complete game?

Sheff has had success with San Diego, Florida, LA, Atlanta, The Yankees and now Detroit. His day today (4-5, HR, 3B, 2 RBI 2R) just got me thinking. I can't think of a player on his level (.297 career average, outside shot at reaching 500 HRs this year) who has been with so many different teams while maintaining his level of success.

I have always wondered why does one leauge have the DH but not the other. In your opinion should both leauges have the DH or should the pitches hit in both leauges. I think its to have some players further their careers but shouldnt be the same for both?
