All of the players remained with the team when it moved to Washington and became the Nationals. When a team changers locations the roster reamains intact just as if the team hadn't ever moved.

They moved to Washington D.C. and became the Nationals. They still play in the same division and league. When they moved they retained their roster, however they current roster is much different than it was when they were last the Expos.

the expos became the nationals and the players that were on the expos were moved to the nationals because they are the same franchaise they just changed cities and names because no in montrel went to see the games

They were royally screwed by token owner Jeff Loria and the sitting commissioner.
Oh, where is the team now? Relocated to Washington, DC, and renamed the Nationals. Got a new owner too; Loria is now draining the Florida Marlins of all credibility.
