yes they are slowly coming around they gotta stop hitting each other and start hitting the ball to win some games they spent over 100mil and are under 500 they will come back and will beat the brewers this year in the division and get a better record and they will not go on to win the championship but they will just keep getting better and win probably in teh next 10 years sometime

Not until they move into a new ballpark. Playing in Wrigley is actually bad for the Cubs because regardless of what their record might be they are always playing in a full ballpark and therefore have no economic incentive to field a winning team just a reasonably competive one.
Saddle the the Cubs with the debt of a new ballpark and winning becomes a matter of economic necessity.

I believe the Cubs are finally on the right track. They are showing their fans they want to win when they went out and got Soriano. They have a solid offensive team capable of scoring runs against anybody and are not more than a player or two away from being a solid contender. If they are going to make a move this year they are going to have to bring in a solid starting pitcher that can help them down the stretch. They are going to be a fun team to watch this year and years to come and they are defiantly on the right track.

if you mean anytime soon..no...but someday they will they just need to get a good manager and then get themselves some good players who are going to work together and not fight..They need to get players for everything...some that can get on base and then steal and then the power hitters and some good fielding and the pitching is a huge thing..They spent all their money on Alfonso..he can't carry the team they need more than that
