You're right the Yankees haven't won yet in this century, and I doubt they will this year either. They went in 2001 but lost to the D-backs, which was the best World Series I've ever seen. They also got there in 2003 but lost to the Marlins.

Yep they got their butts kicked by the Marlins in 2003. So glad they haven't won any since 2000. So overrated!
To the person who said 2001 was the best they've seen...it was good...but not as great as the 1991 World Series between the Twins and Braves. That is by far the greatest series ever.

I am a Yankee fan, but yes, you are right.
As for Miss Red Sox, she sounds a lot like someone whose team has lost five games off its lead to the Yankees. So, the Red Sox have not beaten up on any bad teams this season? I can't believe someone is actually ripping the Yankees after they swept a series. Got to love those Red Sux fans.Sounds like someone is getting a little nervous.That lead is slip-slidin' away!
