When the Senators were planning their move to Minnesota, both Minneapolis and Saint Paul made attractive and aggressive offers to locate the team in their city. Rather than continuing to compete the two groups joined as Twin Cities Baseball Group. The new team put TC on their cap to honor both cities. Their logo featured two uniformed players shaking hands over the state of Minnesota, one player with M on his uniform, the other with St.P.

TC is for Twin Cities.
The twin cities in question are Minneapolis and St. Paul.
They used to ply in Bloomington, MN, but are now in Minneapolis. Like many things in baseball, it's there because of the tradition of it, and it's a good-looking logo, besides. . . .

It stands for the Twin Cities, although it could also just as easily stand for Twins Country, lol.
Hey, yungspork, if you don't follow the Twins, then why answer this? For two points? Grow up.
