I Think about Ichiro, Hideki Matusi and the others and they all seem to give more of themselves to the game than many American players. The Japanese player will run hard on every ground ball in the infield while some of the American players are jogging. Matusi apologized to the fans last year when he injured himself on a hustle play and was out for the season. Have you ever seen a Japanese player ejected from a game for arguing with the umpire? Go to a game and look who is signing autographs for the kids. Is it culture or respect, and do the American players need to step it up a notch?

Someone yesterday said the Indians have no pitching at all.Heres what I posted in response.Do you agree or disagree?

To bright person a few above me-how can you say the Indians have no pitching?Sure Tigers may be better but look at the rotation

Sabathia-Flat out stud,a true ace,one of the best in the game today.Lead league in CG,Shutouts in 2006(current record 6-1)

Lee-Just back form injury and a week ago pitched a 3 hitter.Along with Westbrook 1 of 4 pitchers to win at least 14 games every season since 2004.(CR 1-0)

Westbrook-On DL now but when he's on he's a groundball machine.Lead league in groundball % in 2006.(CR1-2)

Sowers-Struggeling now but was a star rookie last year. Had the best era after the all star break last year expect for a man named Clemens. Also lead the league in shutouts tied with Sabathia.(CR 0-3)

Byrd-Has been phenominal this year. Has around a 3 ERA and the Indians have scored little for him. (CR 3-1)

Carmona or Adam Miller anyone?

I hate Barry Bonds...the fact that he's about to break one of sports most cherished records in a dirty way, really bothers me. But...if he retires after he is one shy of the record...would you respect him?

I think I would.

As the Commissioner of Baseball isn't Bud Selig in charge of any and all operations pertaining to the legitimacy of the game?

By refusing to be in attendance when Barry Bonds hits the home run to break Hank Aaron's home run record, what does that say about Bud Selig as the Commissioner of Baseball who is supposed to be fair and impartial toward each and every ball player..?

Nothing has ever been proven to eliminate Barry Bonds from baseball in spite of Bonds being tested on a continual basis for drugs. Is Bud Selig taking the matter of Barry Bonds too personal and what does that imply about Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig toward the fans of the San Francisco Giants...?

Does baseball need a new Commissioner..or is the baseball union too strong that regardless of who the Commissioner of Baseball is, the results will be the same???

After watching him pitch all year, (and especially today against Minnesota) I think he has a shot at becoming a major star in the major league. What is everybody elses opinion of him?

Kyle Farnsworth has to be the ballsiest player in the majors, he came out and said what alot of the Yankees have to be thinking when he talked about Roger Clemens rejoining the team and that he shouldn't be allowed to leave on days he's not pitching
