I personally think the Mets will. Give me your reason for your choice.

New York Mets. They have good starting pitchers, their bullpen is not as overworked as the Yankees' bullpen, their so-called irregulars are just as capable as their regulars, and they want it more. Go Mets!

The Yankees. They probally will win game 1 since Pettitte is better than Perez and Perez have given up five hr's in 7 games so the Yankees should get atleast one while Pettite should shut down the Mets. Game two even though Glavine is a big name Rasner still is doing good. Game two the Mets win slightly. In Game 3 John Maine going to get rocked for the first time this year. I mean Wang was a cy young candidate and I think he got the edge since he was injured so he needed to get back into his grove and he is especially coming off a dominating performance vs the White Sox. Yanks win the series 2-1.

As a Yankee fan I have to root for my team but things don't look very good for my Bombers. As long as they were hitting I figured that would sustain them until the pitching found itself but now the bats have gone silent as well. This could be a make or break series for the Yankees. Forget Boston for the moment. If the Yankees can't compete against the Mets, who are on the same level talent wise with the Red Sox, I can't see them doing much of anything once they go to Boston. I love my Yankees but I'm a realist as well. Anything less than a sweep against the Mets is a failure. They needs the wins but more importantly they need the confidence.

I think that the West Coast Subway Series winners will be the San Francisco Giants. The Giants have to step up their performance in order to match the young Athletics. Also, hope Barry Bonds will be able to hit a few out this weekend.

Mets, I'm from Pittsburgh and I'm looking forward to go up to New York for the Yankee vs. Pirates series because this is the one year the Pirates may win the series. Yankees are absolutely horrible!

the mets are arguably the terrific group in baseball at this element in the season...and the yankees are very inconsistent and showing signs and warning signs of age...i do no longer see the mets letting the yanks push them around the two, after what they have achieved to this point to atlanta...the mets are open for corporation this 300 and sixty 5 days and are taking all comers, no longer in basic terms like the yankees that quite can't be judged day by day.... i say the mets win 2 out of three, giving up the following day's game, if any

The Mets will sweep the Yankees who still are without a pitching rotation that will give them any kind of a winning streak. They are currently pathetic.

Chow!!

The series will be split. One for the Yanks. One for the Mets.
And One For the Rain Gods.
