Kyle Farnsworth has to be the ballsiest player in the majors, he came out and said what alot of the Yankees have to be thinking when he talked about Roger Clemens rejoining the team and that he shouldn't be allowed to leave on days he's not pitching

It's doubtful anything happens to Farnsworth. He's one of the few decent pitchers the Yankees have in their bullpen. The Yankees really needed bullpen help more than they needed Clemens, though.

Farnsworth knows he is indispensible to the Yankees. He is their 8th inning reliever. So he gets to say what he thinks. Roger will ignore him, knowing that he'll make more in a month than Farnsworth will for the whole season. And on a team with a collection of egos like the Yankees, that is a message that they all are getting. If Clemens gets 20 starts and has a record of say 11-5, and if they had kept someone like Chase Wright who would have been say 12-12 for the season and 8-8 over the months Clemens will pitch, the Yankees effectively will have paid $18 million to Clemens for an extra 4 or 5 wins. I hope it doesn't matter and even the Devil Rays beat them.

He's got balls but he's damn right. I'm sick and tired of Roger Clemens thinking that he is above being a team player. Sure he's one of the greatest players of all time, but you didnt see Nolan Ryan only going on road trips when he felt like it when he was playing for his last years for the Rangers, and he was older at that time than Clemens is now. Look Roger, make a decision. Either retire for good, or truly be a part of the Yankees. The Yankees need you to be a good model for all of the young pitchers in their organization, and the only model you are giving right now is the Terrell Owens spoiled athlete model.

That--OR--it will open the floodgate of opinion that's there, but so far, has been left unspoken-that every other player in MLB, who HAS to report to spring training ON TIME-and like Farnsworth said, has to be there on the club and in the dugout to support their teammates whether they're playing that day or not--naturally resents His Majesty showing up some 50 games into the season, and then, coming and going howsoever and whensoever he pleases. I personally hope a whole SLEW of players follow Mr. Farnsworths' lead, and come out and say whats on their minds concerning His Majestys' comings and goings.

I applaud the guy for actually speaking his mind. How many other people have actually said what he said when the Rocket was pitching for the Astros.

Sent to minors? No.
Trade? Possiblity, but I doubt the Yankees could get anything out of him. They are hurting in their pitching and Farnsworth can be pretty damn good.

Kudos to Farnsworth for saying what most players think. Special treatment hurts the team! And Roger is a stroke anyway.
