Is it really a double play?

I notice sometimes on ESPN or whatever when they show a double play it doesn't even look like the defensive player touches second base yet it is a double play. Usually on a really neat looking double play this happens. Just wondering if anyone else notices it.

MAN ON FIRST and 2 OUTS, tie ball game. You stand at the plate and swing at nothing. The ball NEVER hits your bat (balks aren't pitches...they're balks). How many pitches could you conceivably see before you are walked to first base? Remember... don't forget the logic!

Is Schilling done? Or is he still going to be on top?

Obviously you can not base your answer on yesterdays VERY embarrasing lose to the Royals on Curt, but do you honestly think that, that game was the last bad game for him this year, or will it be a bad year for the veteran?

Obviously everyone knows about Daisuke's transfer from Japan to Boston. So how do you think he will do during the season? Do you think that the Sox have a chance for a World Series win with him? Or do you think he's overrated?

Does anyone think Barry Zito has a chance at NL Cy Young?

I think he does because he won the AL Cy Young a few years ago, and the AL has better hitters. The reason he's fell off a little bit the past couple of years is because the AL hitters have seen him and his amazing curveball. The NL hitters have never seen a curveball like his, and in interleague play he has been dominate the past couple of years so I think he has a decent chance at winning the Cy Young award. What do you think?
