He is an aboslute waste of flesh. Taking Hank's record is a insult to true baseball fans around the world

For all the Bonds lovers out there, Bonds is a roll model (unfortunatly) kids look up to him. Steroids can kill people. O.J. was proven innocent in a court of law(right or wrong) I dont think Bonds will be as lucky when his time comes.

O.J. was proven innocent yet people responding to my question call him a murderer.

The day Barry Bonds takes Hank Aarons record, will be one of the worst days in baseball. The only thing I will look forward to is the day Selig bans Bonds from baseball when he finds out he used steroids. I feel that is 10 times worse then Pete Rose betting on baseball. But, as far as letting him play anymore, as long as you can hit a HR, they'll let you play.

He should be able to play and break all the records he wants! True baseball fans will not complain about petty things without analyzing facts first, so anyone here with a gripe against Bonds is not a true fan.

"Growth Hormone" anyone????? Those things are not steroids. I'm not sure why everyone thinks he took steroids..... No positive test ever surfaced, steroids will not give him that type of bulk (he's not cut at all) and he takes a long time to recover from injury. What does that tell you? He took something, but it was not steroids.

I think it's just the media that brainwashed the fans into thinking he took them. Speed and Growth Hormone..... Drill that into your brains, for those that don't know anything other than the word STEROID.

I'm sorry...did i miss the positive tests and courtroom convictions of Bonds? Are you old enough to be one of the people who hated Aaron because he was a black man stealing a white mans record? That is what happened and you are displaying some of the same ignorance as those idiots did toward Aaron! To compare someone who "maybe...since there is no actual proof" abused his own body to someone who "maybe" killed 2 people? OJ was determined to have killed by the civil court, hence the punitive damages case and the millions awarded to the families of those he killed...remember a judge determined by a perponderance of the evidence that he was more likely than not the murderer. So to suggest that he was never found guilty of murder is false....the civil court just did a better job than the criminal court did. When Bonds is convicted by either a criminal or civil court of wrongdoing then possibly in some sick way you could draw a parallel between a self abuser and a murderer. Making those kind of insinuations is an insult on the level of Bonds getting the record!!!!!!!!!!

The Juice will easily be doing time. As for Barry, if he receives convicted i'd anticipate that if there is detention center time that it could be fantastically short. Why are you evaluating a guy who slaughtered 2 human beings to a guy that, and until he's had his day in courtroom is presumed harmless (the prosecution proved that oj became responsible, the jurors have been idiots, and all of us be attentive to it) the sole element they have in worry-free is the colour of their pores and skin, and that they are athletes, and has no longer something to do with the crimes, alleged or in any different case.

I am also not crazy with Bonds, but even I will not put him on the same level as a murderer. That's being a little harsh.

(P.S. -- May I add that while OJ was acquitted in the criminal trial, he was held liable in a lawsuit by Goldman's family. As far as I know, he is still trying to pay off that judgment.)

Yeah, and when Hank took out the Babe's record, there were those who yapped about it too. Whatever else Bonds may be, before it's over he will be the home run king of baseball, no small accomplishment by any perspective or set of circumstances.

You are a joke to yahoo answers. Barry Bonds was a Hall of Famer before he took steroids. I don't hear u bashing Mark McGwire or anyone else who took steroids.

Barry Bonds Is a Legand. If Babe Ruth played in this era he wouldn't have half his home runs. Tori Hunter and players like him would of robbed half that crap. All Babe had to do was hit the ball past second base and it would be a home run. He didn't have athletes like Tori Hunter and Kirby Puckett robbin him at the wall or running half the field and catching him of a base hit.

This question is a disgrace to yahoo answers if you ask me. Don't hate the player, hate the game!

Bonds:
1. Has no positive tests for performance-enhancing drugs. No positive test, no discipline.
2. Has yet to be indited for any crime.

That is why.

I think its because MLB is about 90% sure he takes steroids since they were not found in his locker and they want to be 100%sure

Well Mr. Bonds has not flunked any test for performance ehancing substances. He has not been convicted for any criminal offenses. Therefore there has been no cause to warrent a suspension.
Therefore since he is not suspended, and is eligible to play, Mr. Bonds chooses to play.
