Is anyone else annoyed with all of this Dice-K controversy? The guy pitches one goog game against last years worst team in the MLB. That doesnt prove much. Its KANSAS CITY c'mon.

Three homers in his first three games this year. Four webgem catches and a ton of hustle right off the bat. Does anyone compare? Adam Dunn has the bat, but strikes out too much. Dice K has been fun so far, but we have only seen one game ... against KC.

A young Jeter and Posada, bernie, Rivera mixed in with some old vets is what the Ynaks were built on. Now they figure that they need to keep signing these aging vets. Why not play one of the young farm people at first instead of platooning two vets. Lets see Phill hughs and co. pitch..... Why are the Reds not playing Josh Hamilton in the outfield put Adam Dunn back at first and put old vet Scott hatterberg on the bench. Give the youngsters some time to shine. Tampa bay finally is playing all their young players. For many years they kept signing old vets, like mcgriff and vinny castilla and jose cruz jr. why? If you suck already then give the future of the team some experince. How can you expect Elijah Dukes and Delmon Young not to get frustrated sitting in the minors for so long when they know they are better than some of the players in the big leagues. Because of a few failures of some at the big league level, teams are scared to rush some of their ... just a thought.....

If you have a pitcher that is an ace right like totally nasty stuff and say a 103 mph fastball but this guy can also hit like 60 homers a year. Can he hit when he pitches in a game if he's in the AL? Just was wondering about this because there might be someone like the Babe coming through the systems someday.

I think A-Rod will opt out of his contract, making him a freeagent. I think he will sign with the Cubs, because he has a good relationship with Lou.

I don't understand why they spent 126 million on Zito while Boston picked up Matsuzaka for 20 million dollars less. It seems likes a stupid move by the team to go after Zito instead.

i know i called them the anheim angels but they don't play in LA thats dodger territory. Francisco rodriguez has always choke in some big time situations at the end of games, not all the time but a couple of times a year remember the stole of home against the A's so would he try to cheat to get an advantage agaisnt hitters, there is film prove that there was something in his cap.

I know it was against the Kansas City Royals out of all teams, but he did put up a good line of... 7 IP, 6 Hits Allowed, 1 ER, 1 BB, and 10 Ks!!!

He pretty baffled the Royals with his repertoire of pitches of fastballs, change ups, breaking balls, and gyroball if it exists at all. Don't know if he used it or not.

Strong debut, but I'm not all that impressed cause it was the Royals. I want to see him pitch against the Yanks, to see if he was worth the $103 mil the Red Sox paid to talk and sign him.

In my opinion, I think the Mets are. The Mets are the best team in the division and they're the best team in the National League. They have the strongest lineup in the NL and in all of baseball. They're pitching is vastly underrated as proven in their massacre of the Cards. I know three games doesn't make a season, but judging from last year, the Mets are so much better off than last year. They had 13 different starters last year and still won 97 games. If they have consistent starting pitching like in the Cards series, then they will run through the NL and into the World Series.

Moving on, the Phillies aren't gonna win because they always have high expectations and always fall short. Their bullpen is not great and they always start the season poorly. The Braves aren't great offensively. The Marlins are talented and very young; in my estimation, they're not ready to step up to the big boys just yet. The Nationals, in my mind, just flat out suck.

P.S. Lets Go Mets
