My favorite baseball team would be the Cleveland Indians. They have a great Chance this year due to the fact they have an improved infield defense and Johnny Peralta can actually field a ball this year. They have one of the best DH's in the league in Travis Hafner and one of the best center fielders in Grady Sizemore. With and improved bullpen our chances are looking pretty good. I also think as you said the cubbies have a chance with the acquisition of Alfonso Soriano and keeping Aramis Ramirez. So I hope its the cubs and Indians in the World Series.

My team is the Royals. I think they have a chance at winning 70-75 games this year and possibly making a run at 4th place in the AL Central but I'm not holding my breath. They don't have a snowballs chance in hell of making the playoffs, maybe in 2-3 years if Dayton Moore can keep improving the team and we don't lose the talent we have to big market ball clubs.

Milwaukee Brewers. and I LOVE their chances. They bolstered their pitching with the addition of NLCS MVP Jeff Suppan, and a healthy Ben Sheets. If Derrick Turnbow returns to 2005 form, the bullpen will be scary good.
The lineup is solid with speed (Rickie Weeks, Bill Hall) and power (Hall again, Prince Fielder and so far Kevin Mench).
My only concern is at 3B. You traditionally need some power there, and Craig Counsell doesn't exactly put the fear of God in opposing pitchers.
That being said... GO CREW!!

I am an avid Red Sox fan, but I root for the Braves and the Cubs in the NL. I think the Red Sox will go all the way this year, and the Cubs will be their opponent in the World Series won by the Sox in 6 games.

MN Twins, and YES I think they have a chance!!!! With Santana on the mound, Mauer behind the plate, Morneau at 1st, Nathan closing, Cuddyer fielding homers, and all the sluggers on this team, I think we have a clear shot at at least the Playoffs!!
