The Tigers are sitting pretty because both Maybin and Miller are future stars. Maybin is a 5 tool player who hasnt peaked physically yet but you only need to see him play once to recognize the raw talent. 3 years from now I can easily see him as the Tigers everyday RF and a perennial All Star. Andrew Miller may be a better pitching prospect than verlander....he is a huge leftie with a wicked fastball, very much like verlander except he is lefthanded which makes him an even more desirable commodity. The Tigers also have Virgil Vasquez (pitching prospect) that has the potential to be a very good big leaguer. Rumor was that the Yankees fought hard to get the Tigers to add him to the Sheffield deal but the Tigers werent biting....they think he has too much upside. Of course you are correct to include Clevlen...imagine is you will an outfield in a few years of Maybin, Granderson and Clevlen, should be a very good outfield if they all reach their potential. There is also a very young pitcher named Jair Jurrgens who has great big league potential, again one look at him and it is pretty obvious he has a big league arm (and he is only 20) and dont forget that a lot of teams keep asking about Jordan Tata, another young guy with major league potential. For a change it is nice to see the Tigers with so many good prospects (it had been awhile).

That is a very tough question.
Clevlen should be good, but not as good as Maybin.

Miller is like 6'4" and a mini-Randy Johnson type.

Maybin is tauted as being the next best thing to hit MLB since Willie Mays.
Once Maybin does come up Granderson will move over to right (or left) and Maybin will cover the grand canyon that is center field at Comerica Park.

Minor League Last Year
Clevlen:
.230-11hr-45rbi-6sb... and 138 Ks in only 395 AB

Maybin:
.304-9hr-69rbi-27sb... and 116 Ks in only 385 AB

Miller:
Not much action last year, but a very good arm

So to answer your question, best prospect right now... Maybin. In the next year or so... Miller.

Andrew Miller. The Royals almost picked him that year. He is going to be an ace.
