It certainly isn't A-Rod who popped out weakly last night with the bases loaded...

Jeter and Matsui are the Yankees clutch players. But I've seen A-Rod do some clutch stuff before. You guys are too hard on him. He is one of the ten best players to play the game. He will break the home run record that Bonds breaks if he stays healthy. He has won gold gloves, he hits .300 every year just about. The only problem with A-Rod is that Yankee fans have gotten into his head. I don't think he'll be a Yankee next year. And that might be best for everyone involved.

The clutch players on the yankees are Hideki Matsui, Derek Jeter, Robinson Cano, Jason Giambi and Jorge Posada at times.

That was too bad, but don't forget about Abreu's out right before A-Rod's. I would have to say usually clutch players are Jeter, Giambi, Matsui, and Posada. Cano doesn't have as much of a track record, but was impressive in some big situations last year too.

if you are saying there are no clutch players on the yankees, then you are missing possibly the most clutch hitter of this era, derek jeter...also, matsui, giambi, and posada have come up with big hits when the yankees needed them

There only clutch hitter was Bernie Williams, but the idiot front office let him go like a bag of ****. Real classy, huh?

I would have to say George. He is the entire leader of the operation. Without him there would be no Yankees.
