At the end of the week do you think that Joe Torre will still be the Yankees manager? And do you think that at the beginning of the next season A-Rod will still be wearing a Yankees uniform? I hope Joe Torre stays, but I don't really care about Alex...

I think my guy friend is having a hard time in his life right now because he played baseball since he was 6, played in the minors, played for team USA, got called up to the majors on occassion, but was never signed a steady contract by MLB. So he ended up retiring. Is anybody else out there going through the same thing? I'm trying to understand him, he seems lost at age 32. How can I help him?

He isn't half the player Arod is, and don't give me that leadership crap, if he was a real leader the team wouldn't have been in shambles in the media all year.

As a Mets fan I want the A's, revenge for 1973

The point of this question is the why, like my 1973 revenge. As fans of our teams, we all have an opponant in mind if our teams can get there, pre-LCS is the best time to call out who you want from the other league, even if you are flipping a coin.

where the little boy is walking thru the N.Y neighborhood and he comes across a woman who falls on the sidewalk and a guy says to him, "what were you thinking?" and then he walks a little further and comes to a basketball game where two guys begin to fight and a guy says to him "thanks a lot!" and then the little boy walks a little further and is in the middle of a person being wheeled into ambulance and a woman says "Are you happy now?" well anyway they should switch the little boy with A-Rod and have him walking thru the neighborhood instead. What do you think? Only people who have seen this commercial will know what I'm talking about. lol.
