A's:

Strengths: Starting Pitching (Zito, Harden, Haren, Loaiza)
Weaknesses: Lack of HR power other than Frank Thomas

Tigers:

Strengths: Starting Pitching (Verlander, Rogers, Bonderman)
Bullpen: Zumaya, Rodney, Jones
Weakness: Lack of experience, not particularly fast on the bases

Cardinals:

Strenghts: Albert Pujols (he's the whole team)
Weakness: Starting pitching (other than Carpenter), hitting, bullpen

Mets:

Strengths: Offense (Delgado, Beltran, Wright, LoDuca, Reyes) and the NL's best bullpen (Bradford, Feliciano, Heilman, Mota, Wagner)
Weakness: Starting pitching (except Glavine) inexperience

I can't speak for the NL teams, as I've not paid attention to them.

The A's strength will be thier starting pitching.
As The Tigers is also. (lowest ERA in MLB all season).
Tigers catching is not bad either.
The Tigers weakness:
hitting the first pitch!
They need to lay off that first pitch popping out stuff.

Our bullpen (with Joel "ZOOM ZOOM Zumaya) is AWESOME!

Don't know about the mets offense, but if they are as "good" as the yankees were supossed to be, than it will be interesting to see what happens.

Strengths:

A's = All around pitching, ability to beat you with 1-8 batters, clutch hitting
Tigers = Great pitching all around, productive hitters
Cardinals = Pujols and Carpenter
Mets = Awesome bullpen and good mix of power and contact hitting.

Weakness:

A's = Lack of power, lack of speed
Tigers = Streaky hitting and pitching
Cardinals = everyone not named Pujols or Carpenter
Mets = Starting pitching, impatient hitting and low OBP.
