Has there ever been anyone voted mvp for a league championship series or the world series who was on the losing team?

Bobby Richardson of the New York Yankees won the World Series MVP in 1960, despite the Yankees losing the Series to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The most memorable MVP recently was my #1 Josh Beckett when he played for the Marlins 2003! That was one of the most exciting World Series I've watched!

and they beat the Yankees!! :-)
