I say Mets, too...anyway, the Yankees didn't show up for yesterday's game against the Tigers. The Yankees have a huge payroll, and along with that came huge egos. They choked and should be going home! One good thing came out of that...Yankees fans won't be talking about "their" team too much now...they only talk about them when they're winning. Sounds like fair weather fans to me...maybe they'll jump on someone else's bandwagon now!

Id have to agree. I think the Yankees, having the highest payroll in basball, should be dominating the game. But, they aren't, and I love it. I think baseball should have a salary cap, like football. It would make thinks more even. Then, the Yankees would have to practice, instead of just hiring all the best players.

Well, if faced with a choice between the two, I'd rather see the Yankees win -- only because it always seems a waste of $200 million when they DON'T win.
I guess that's not going to happen this year, though, now is it?

now that the Padres are out doesnt matter to me that much although i'd like to see A's overtake Mets in 7 games!

If I'm limited to those two teams it's a no brainer; METS. With what is left in the Playoffs I have to go with the Tigers. If all teams are eligible either the Twins or Red Sox.
