The guy has a knack for turning crappy teams into title contenders. No one else has been able to do anything with the Lions....why not? Bobby Ross, Steve Marriuchi,etc.,etc.

The truth is out! Tim McCarver and Joe Buck doctored that photgraph of Kenny Rogers hand! Did they do that to create a diversion due to low ratings, or to take the heat off the fact that they are really horrible announcers?

I mean, I know they hit in place of the pitcher but why are they just in the American League. Personally, I think if you don't play a position on the field, you don't deserve to bat. If I was a pitcher, I would want to be a pitcher in the National League so that I get a chance to bat. I mean look at Babe Ruth, he was a pitcher and has the third best career home run numbers.

What do you think?

Everybody jumped on the Jeter bandwagon once he arrived on the scene, but yet when I ask a regular bandwagon Yankee fan who was the shortstop before Jeter....they show their true bandwagon nature when they can not answer the question. So who has the answer?

I'm new to baseball, and I'm having difficulty understanding why the spot on Kenny Rogers' hand in game 2 of the World Series has caused such a stir. What 'spot' could possibly give him such an unfair advantage that it would merit this kind of attention?

I am curious to see what the general opinion is on the pine tar contorversy with the Detroit pitcher from game two of the world series. Do you think this is what it was on his hand and was the appropriate action taken? Would you say that he really cheated? Did Tony LaRussa make the right call by not loudly objecting to the player being left in the game? Many are saying that this will honestly make it a fair series by leaving him in. What are your thoughts?

I know what the foul lines are. They both run from home plate and are extended out past the 1st and 3rd bases to the outfield. This is not the line I'm talking about. When you watch a game, alongside the 1st base foul line, there is an additional white line that runs parallel with the foul line, but doesn't quite reach the first base plate.

They're always looking for any illegal advantage (pine tar and shaving cream for pitchers, and steroids for hitters), and the supposed authority does not make people accountable. THey would rather look the other way. The more serious transgressions, as in steroids, are law violations, and they should go to jail, instead of being slapped with a fine or suspension.

There's too much cover up - no integrity.
