Anybody can say what they want, we are fortunate to have freedom of speech here. I don't agree with cheating, if that is what was going on. But the fact is that he pitched a hell of a game without anything on his hands. Even LaRussa agreed to that. Go Tigers!!!

Yes, I think so. Whatever it was on Rogers hand it should not have been there. Even if it was just plain dirt. If it was pine tar then Rogers was foolish to think that with all the cameras covering the game it would not have been picked up. I did however have a problem with Tim McCraver who immediately called Rogers for cheating. That I thought was unfair. At least until they could determine what the substance was.

Yes, I agree it is fair to say. We live in a country where freedom of speech is our right. Whether or not it is true is another story. Obviously MLB wasnt too concerned or they would have done alot more than ask Kenny to wash his hands. If you ask me, St. Louis is just pissed that Kenny kicked their butts!!! The tigers deserve to be where they are right now, not because of "cheating" but because they have put together a fantastic team and worked very hard to get where they are.

I'm surprised they could actually come up with anything that clever. There must be something better you could listen to than those guys - maybe an emergency broadcast signal, or nails being dragged down a chalkboard. Either of those sounds would be preferable to Mike and Mike.

Of course its fair. Is it true maybe maybe not. This has always been a form of cheating that has been looked at with a wink and a nod.
There is a long history of pitchers doing it. Half the time it is a mind game. I don't care.
GO TIGERS

Personally I hate when they use the word gate at the end of every scandal. it iis based on the Watergate Hotel in the DC area and Pres. Nixon, and the tapes etc. What if he stayed at the Marriott - would it be Smudge Marriott?

They can call it what they want. The truth of the matter is that if it had been pine tar, he would have been thrown out of the game. The next 7 innings that he pitched were flawless! Go Tigers!

Well, its not fair how two idiots like them get to talk about baseball on national radio and television while many people who actually know things about sports have to sit around and do nothing.
