In baseball, what do the base-runner and the fielder talk about when the base-runner is on base?

For example, when a player hits a single and is on first base while another person is up at bat, often (on television) you can see him talking to the first baseman (the same with doubles and triples).

Do they just say "hi?" Do they "catch up?" Do they insult each other? Do they try to distract each other?

I have just installed an indoor batting cage at my golf driving range.

I went to my 1st Yankees and Red Sox game two nights ago in the Bronx and I gotta tell ya, it was one of the coolest experiences ever walking into the legendary Yankee Stadium. I just wonder, how many out there are Yankees fans like myself, or is it Boston??

Why did Derek Jeter's hit streak end last night? He hit a ball and got on base... I wasn't in the room when it happened, but when I got back he was on base, and my friends told me he had gotten a hit, but this morning on Sports Center, the bottom line showed that his hit streak was over.
