Yep. I remember when it was predicted earlier in the season that this would be a repeat of 1986, a meeting between the Mets and Red Sox. Who know the Red Sox would be humiliated at Fenway and then sent into an unbelievable spiral that makes the 2004 ALCS look like a minor loss. The Red Sox fans would like to blame it on injuries, but the Yankees climbed up to the Wild Card, and eventually the division on the backs of Melky Cabrera, Andy Phillips, Bernie Williams, Miguel Cairo, and others who rose to the occasion when the Yankees faced injuries. If anyone's the crybaby, it's the Red Sox fans who try to use their injuries as an excuse for losing. If anything, this has proved to us that the Red Sox aren't a team. They're two hispanic guys accompanied by a few random players.
While I do not know what will happen ("It ain't over 'til it's over" -Yogi), I can only wish for the subway series with as much drama as the 2003 ALCS and a final victory for the Yankees. Bring the championship back where it belongs.

Yes we are spoiled, lol. It's been 6 years since we won and that is long enough to wait for another ring.I predict that the Yankees beat the Cardinals in 5 games for our next ring. It's really been 6 years, wow how time flys, lol.

why the yankees will never win another world series....because of their "devoted" fans!!
1.) balding white conservative with a beer gut screaming for his downtrodden wife to get him a cold one
2.) mouthy *** fan screaming from the stands and throwing bottles or sharp objects at players from opposing teams
3.) benchwarmers for their highschool teams who talked the loudest but never went anywhere in their dreams of glory
4.) cry and complain when George "old windbag" can't buy another world series title with his $3 billion dollar payroll
AND
5.) beats on his kids, plays bumper cars with pedestrians/other drivers, and thinks the world owes him a World Series ring.
Yankee fans need to buy yourself a New York Times and use it as toilet paper for your overhyped, overrated and overpaid team!
paid for by: a loyal Boston Redsox fan tired of hearing Yankee fans whine every year!:)

I sure hope they do! I'm a huge Yankees fan and when the season first began I predicted a Subway Series. I'm hoping that's the way it pans out, and that the Yanks win it all. Well, no matter who else gets in the WS I hope the Yankees win and that Jeter walks away w/ MVP as well. He deserves it.
