You might be thinking that the Tigers are in danger, but look at the White Sox. They are 5 games back from the division and around 4 from the Twins. Do you see them making the playoffs, or will the Tigers and Twins make it instead?

In order for the white sox to make the playoffs they would have to win 11 of thier last 13, while The Tigers win 6 of thier 13.
That would put them in a tie, and The Tigers have already won the coin toss.
The white sox would have to sweep The Tigers now for them to even still have a chance.
Let's not forgot the last weekend of the season the white sox are in Minnesota (while Minnesota have the best home record in MLB).
So, it's almost a safe bet that the white sox will be sitting on the couch watching the playoffs.

I think it will be determined tonight when they start the series with the tigers, if they play well they might have a chance to gain some ground, but remember they still have to play my twins in the last series and those will be big games.
