The McLaren always outpaced Ferrari in all the four days. Even Lewis Hamilton was faster than Kimi Raikkonen?
Do these testing results reflect upon the grands prix?
Can anyone give me statistical data comparing Mclaren and ferrari in terms of wheelbase and weight

Personally I think things are improving, although any circuit too narrow to offer reasonable overtaking opportunities is past it. However a famous car designer said 'Just reduce tyre width enough to induce opposite lock and let them do what they like with the rest of the car...'
What do you think?

Who does everyone think will win the championship this season, I am supporting Kimi Raikknoen he should finally get some half-decent results now he's got a reliable team. Alonso made a bad desicion to move to Mclaren as they were blowing engines, tyres and all sorts. The new people Hamilton and the Renult guy should be quite good.

I am a big fan of moto GP and WSBK.
The racing is close with races coming down to being won by 1/1000ths of a second. Top speeds of 210mph+. Unbelieveable overtaking manouveres. Still with the interest of the technical side of tire set ups and Italian V-twins vs Japanese 4-cylinder bikes.
Riders have real rivalries on and off the track.
My question (and its an honest one) What is the big deal with F1? Compared to the bikes it just seems boring! please explain.

The last time Mclaren won a championship was in 1999 with Mika Hakkinen and a much more reliable Mercedes engine. Foolish of him to move after two consecutive titles and in my opinion he has had the best car for the last two years. In 05 the one set of tires per race rule was implemented specifically to end the Michael/Ferrari dominance because people were losing interest because of that dominance. The Renault last year was stronger than the Ferrari in the first half of the season (obviously) and on equal terms in the second half. I am quite certain Michael would have gone on to win the Japanese GP and his eighth title if not for his motor. What are your thoughts on this?

Me being british I am on the side of the uk drivers but are they going to top the podium this year? Will Jenson continue his podium finishes as the 2007 progresses or will his team mate rubens get the better of him? The new guys or kids on the block - Lewis will his start to the season be rewarding to Ron - I think so! Did Fernando make the right desision - Yes - to do a Rossi and prove that it is not about the car it is about the driver package. What about the trye package - will this seriously influence the runners on the tyres last year? Who is going to have the more powerful engine package?

Who thinks Shumacher is overrated?? I think so because he won most of his championships in an era totally dominated by Ferrari. So what i mean is that whoever would have been the leading Ferrari driver at that time would have won all those titles. And in my opinion there are better drivers that won a lot of titles with a car that wasnt so superior than the others.

The season is a couple months away, but what are your predictions? I have mine.

Constructor:
Ferrari. Raikkonen and Massa just seem like a combination that will be tough to beat. McLaren might give it a go, but with a rookie as the second driver, it probably won't happen. Give hamilton a couple years experience and he will be solid of Bruce.

Driver:
It is going to go down to Alonso and Raikkonen. Whoever has the better car will win. Kimi is more aggressive, but that has caused him to bow out from many races. If Ferrari gives Kimi a durable car, he will win, but I am giving the edge to Alonso.

I don't want to compare over different era's but if you had the M.S , Mika Hakkinen, Kimi,Alonso,Jaccque Villeneuve,Jarno Trulli , Jenson Button,Barrichello all driving the same spec car say a Ferrari or Mclaren fitted individually to each driver , Who would win ?

... or that Ferrari will continue with their tradition, it's going to be hard now, because Kimi looks like a honorable man, something that we can't say for Shumy!!!!!!
