The Renault's colors in the previous years at least stood out, made them different and easy to identify in the track like Ferrari Red or Mclaren black/silver (though Mclaren's last year was easily confused with the Torro Rosso). It was easy to pick them out.
This year, since they no longer have Mild Seven as their principal sponsor they no longer carry the blue. Now it looks like a patchwork of colors... its too light... like candy colors?
I think its a bit drab for an F1 car... maybe that's their strategy... laugh at our colors now but you wont laugh when the F1 season starts.

Well, being a fan of Renault, I must say that the new livery was shocking at first (massive parts of the car being painted white). But when you look at it into perspective, the other bits can balance the aspect of the car. Even though it's not quite as pretty as the blue and yellow of last year, I have to say it still looks good. Especially when applied to a design as aggressive as the one of the R27.
There is a saying that states loud and clear (in Latin)... "De gustibus non est disputandum". That means that tastes are not to be mocked about. Or, as some say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But it's ridiculous that some people think that a car will lose because of its livery.

Well, I'd like to congratulate the designers ... for this ugly livery!
I support Renault, so I'm very disappointed with the choices they made. How can they have mixed so many colors (orange, white, blue, yellow)? Don't they have any taste?
I don't think an ugly car really helps sponsors to promote their image...
Can't they make it simple, like Ferrari for instance?

The new design is HORRIBLE! The car looks as a parrot! I feel they'll have bad luck with this unfashioned look. I hope Renault will change as soon as possible this stupid design. Last year the car was so sexy and great. Anyway, the performances have not in common with the look. Fisi and Heikki seem to be very optimistic and that is good for the French team.
Renaultfan I think now is time to change your picture. :P

The color of the car has nothing to do with winning or losing, I'll make that point first....
Now, about the color of the Renault?? It's absolutely hideous. Ferrari keep it nice with a all red scheme, which is hot. McLaren's car last year look great, this year it looks okay. But this Renault is so ugly.

Livery sensible the Lotus, Virgin & Renault are the most perfect searching automobiles on the grid. yet primary structure i imagine the Williams is the most perfect searching automobile with is lengthy profile, pointy nostril & brilliantly sculpted the front and rear wings. I also like how flowing and sensible the sidepods are. pink bull is close. My 2 accepted Lotus & Williams. i like BRG so Lotus for me. i detect the McLaren somewhat too vulgar searching.

It looks like a plate of Chinese food. Food should be colourful, cars shouldn't. As much as I laugh whenever Ferrari loses, their classic single-colour orange cars are always in good taste. (It looks red on TV, but it's actually orange.)
