Who does everyone think will win the championship this season, I am supporting Kimi Raikknoen he should finally get some half-decent results now he's got a reliable team. Alonso made a bad desicion to move to Mclaren as they were blowing engines, tyres and all sorts. The new people Hamilton and the Renult guy should be quite good.

Kimi for sure, but Massa could push him close. He has greater experience in the team remember! And no team orders at Ferrari now. Alonso's season depends upon the reliability of the new McClaren. Renault was only up there because of Alonso so don't expect them to figure. Honda should challenge, best team in the second half of last year with Button scoring the most points. Red Bull Racing should have a fantastic car with Newey's designs - he has a fantastic record. Think it will be a tough start to the season for those teams that had Michelin tyres last year.

Kimi Raikkonen for sure. Ferrari's pre-season testing results may not be good. They never have been. McLaren have, fortunately, taken a step forward and are up to scratch now. Good for them. But Ferrari and Renault are hugely benefited by the engine freeze in place. They tend to carry over the pace from the last race, where they left off and judging by Michael Schumacher's pace in the 248F1 that day, I don't think Ferrari have too much work to do other than get Kimi used to the car. Renault are going to be at a huge disadvantage for three reasons: 1. Alonso is gone from there.
2. Their livery looks like a clown's costume. They would be laughing at themselves. ;)
3. Neither of the racers there are actually any good.
So my prediction after all this is this:
Driver's Championship:
1. Kimi Raikkonen
2. Massa/Alonso
3. Massa/Alonso
4. Hamilton/Heikki/Giancarlo
5. Hamilton/Heikki/Giancarlo
6. Hamilton/Heikki/Giancarlo

Constructor's Championship:
1. Ferrari
2. McLaren - by only a handful of points they'll be second
3. Renault
4 onwards, other random teams.

Hope this is good enough for you. Please give me best answer. Please!!! ;)

I expect Raikkonen to win, from Alonso in 2nd and probably Massa in 3rd. Providing McLaren don't make huge steps in reliability (I don't expect they will), and providing Ferrari don't take a few steps backwards.

Constructors, I'd say Ferrari will win, McLaren 2nd, Renault 3rd. Honda will probably be 4th, with Red Bull rounding off the Top 5.

Drivers Championship top 5, I think will be:

1. Raikkonen
2. Alonso
3. Massa
4. Kovalainen
5. Hamilton

If the McLaren is solid Alonso could win. Raikkonen would be an intensive 2d. Ferrari could win the constructors as McLaren and Renault the two have inexperienceded 2d drivers. Honda must be the dark horse. Then it will be the wonderful of the rest. Webber optimistically might have some podiums and might even get a win with the Adrian Newey designed crimson Bull. My prediction a million. Alonso, 2. Raikkonen, 3. Massa, 4. Fisichella, 5. Button, 6. Webber.

ive been an F1 fan for many years now and every year seems to get more and more boring!!! Lewis hamilton is so over-rated, hes too young, jenson button is a waste of space, just because he won his first race ever everyone was saying he will be a future british world champion, lol! *cough cough* he prob wont ever win another race! mclaren are by far the fastest cars but reliability is a big issue and jas been for a good couple of years now. renault wont win anythin, maybe a couple of races yes, but a championship? NEVER! alonso's move to mclaren wasa bad desiscion in my opinion, why leave a team ou have won the championship with 2 yrs running? i dnt get it!!

Ferrari will dominate this year, u watch! ok...the best driver to ever compete in F1 is retired but his influence remains in the team and will do for many years to come! raikonnen will piss the championship with massa a close second. then renault driver fisichella in third. alonso's car will breakdown to often. alonso fourth.!!!

You're all wrong. Robert Kubica will shock the world. McLaren will find out that the reason their cars wouldn't stay together was because Raikkonen and Montoya were too hard on their cars. They will find this out too late, and have a car that sacrifices speed for reliability, and, as a result, Alonso won't be able to run with the Ferraris. Ferrari will also find out that Raikkonen, while an insanely fast driver, beats on the car too much, leading to chronic failures. Massa will finish ahead of him, but will not be able to overcome Kubica. At the end of the season, it will be Kubica, Massa, and Raikkonen. You heard it here first.

My bet is on Raikkonen. He is really good but unlucky with Mclaren. I hope that with Ferrari he can be champion. If Alonso does not deliver for Mclaren.. do you thin Ron Dennis will drive him out of F1 like what he did to Montoya? Maybe he'll end up racing for WRC. Hope Alonso did not make a bad move moving to Mclaren.

Prediction? Another boring season, like every season since they banned slick tyres and made aerodynamics the priority over mechanical grip. Haven't watched regularly since Hill was about. Do the right thing and watch real racing on two wheels, for MotoGP is the best form of motorsport on the planet right now! Maybe would be different if F1 brought back turbos and skirts...

i think i should certainly support you that kimi is going to be the champion bcoz he is in the team ferrari who upgraded their car very well and as you said alonso made a big mistake by moving from renault to mclaren bcoz mclaren's are struggling to improve and which also made montoya to quit f1 and join nascar and my pick of probable's is improving felipe massa or kimi his own teammate......

Kimi Raikkonen!!!! He is focussed and wants it more. I think Fernando Alonso will give him a run for his money if he has the car.
