Who all think;s JR raced a lot like his father did at Dega 3 Races ago till his motor blew i mean watching JR up front leading the pack and blocking and getting kicked to the very back and working his way right back up there with little or no help brought back memories of Dale Sr in the 2000 EA Sports 500 how with 13 laps to go he was 23rd and when the white flag flew he was 1st

its gonna be real weird seeing my #20 car in toyota trim.and seeing #88 jr. in a hendricks car (blahhh)..i hope next year is a little more exciting..how long before gibbs turns around toyota team..we need some real men in the top two points positions now, not the same ole cookie cutter answer type guys..i miss some controversy..

i would just like to see at the least, 3 different teams in the top 3 as opposed to two teammates who will help each other out and one MAJOR underdog (who im pulling for). But man, why even watch the rest of the season?? And im SO irritated about the drama - the announcers trying to make the chase seem so exciting and dramatic. Along that same line, anyone who watched m'vill yesterday could see how Rusty and the other commentators were trying so hard to make the end of the race sound really exciting...it was another GWC (green white check.) Lets be reall here guys (commentators), call it like it is, unless you wanna sound like robots like Jeff and Jimmy (the J&J team). Im not a J&J hater but dang Jimmy sounded SO textbook after the race yesterday, just like every race he wins, he should just tape record a few lines and just run it after a win. If anyone was watching, compare it to Tony's win at the Brickyard when he dedicated that race to his fans with a nice four letter word.

After the race, Lewis Hamilton's daddy spoke to Peter Windsor on camera. I can't find a video of it.

Anyway, Anthony Hamilton said something about how Lewis beat all the other drivers, not only on track, but in terms of style, character, class and attitude! I think he said something about "respect" in there as well.

What? WTF? Is it just me, or is that an offensive thing to say to other drivers? Did anyone else see it? What do you think?

I saw a snippet of the conversation and I thought he looked bloody serious, almost angry, when he made those comments.

im so tired of nascar's ways. i'm becoming less of a fan and i've been a fan for a long time.. i know hendricks is the dominant team, but everything seems to go there way. i miss the old points system regardless whos leading now..its starting to become less of an american sport and more of a foreign sport. (drivers and makes). i guess im just tired of the system... i miss davey allison, earnhardt, and the rest of the good ole boys.. i dont hate gordon, johnson, and the rest of hendricks but it seems like thats all who wins..and itsnot because of they're the best drivers, because stewart, little e, and whoever else are just as good, just not as good equipment..

The only reason why Kimi won was because Massa let him win. Massa should have won the race, Kimi Second and Alonso third, which would mean Alonso world Champion.

Alonso has had no team mate all year and should have been the Champ, but Massa let Raikkonen take the lead. Totally unfair.

Alonso has been screwed by teammate Hamilton, team McLaren, Ferrari and FIA. Pretty sad.

I think that Max Mosely was speaking the truth when he said that the $100,000,000.00 fine imposed on Maclaren for spying was insufficient and in equity, suspension from racing until 2009 was more appropriate. Also, I believe that Max Mosely was overruled because all the other teams would have suffered by such a judgement because the sport would have been too severely damaged and sponsors would have been pulling out across the board. Is it possible that the FIA persuaded Maclaren to accept a behind-the-scenes deal to throw the Championship in favour of Kimi Räikkönen and Ferrari – the injured party in the spying scandal?

This is not so farfetched if you consider unbelievable events in Shanghai and at Interlagos, not to mention the true amount of money Maclaren would have lost were they to be booted out of F1!

1 if mclaren win their appeal and williams and bmw drivers are thrown out for cheating and hamilton wins ,then one could argue mclaren drivers should also be thrown out for cheating.

2 If bmw and williams are excluded will they appeal against the fia and this sorry case will then carry on well into next year.

should mclaren just drop this appeal and try and win next year on the track?

If Lewis Hamilton is the best thing in the 'sport' at the moment because he's the 'best driver' then why shouldn't he 'race' in a super aguri car next season?
What i'm trying to say is that because it seems that only ferraris and mclarens win the races, isn't it the car manufacturer you're cheering?
Jenson Button and David Coulthard still 'race' in formula 1 but they've not even been close so, really, what's the point in Formula 1?

I want to give NASCAR a chance, as it's the fastest growing sport in North America. But I do not see the appeal of NASCAR...at least from my limited viewing.

NASCAR fans, please let me know why you like NASCAR and why is it more appealing than F1, CART, or Indy?

Many argue that NASCAR drivers just go 'round in circles, and have no real skills, and is boring as all cars are tuned the same?
