I'm enjoyin' the CHASE this year, and really find it hard to believe that Johnson or Gordon will stumble here @ the end. Anything can happen, and Bowyer is just waiting to pounce... But I don't think Gordo will be denied this year. He has just been too strong, and I think this is finally his year to get #5.

But.. Just for fun...

After the race Sunday night, What "turn of events" would you like to see happen to jumble up the current standings or just totally change the entire points picture?

I know he will only be driving part time, but what will people be saying then. I'm not a Dale Jr. Hater!
I just rank drivers as I see them and I do think Mark Martin gets a lot out of his car everytime.
At times he is amazing!

otherwise this mess will just go on and on
bmw and williams will appeal if they lose driver and constructor points, citing mclaren as cheats who's driver were allowed to keep their points.
ferrari will appeal aginst the sanctions given to mclaren citing that if bmw and williams lose their drivers points then mclaren should lose their driver points.
and if bmw and williams and ferrari win their appeal and mclaren lose their drivers points, mclaren will then appeal against that descion .
and the merry go round will just go on and on and on!
so should RD and mclaren just move on and try to win next year on the track.

Ok, maybe because of it he lost the title, but so what.
Recently people have bemoaned the lack of real racing in F1 and now we have someone who will go for a win regardless and you call him for it.
Personally, I think it shows character that he feels second is nowhere.
I've always said I'd much rather watch a driver make an error chasing a win rather than watch someone who plays the percentages and lets a win pass by.
Kimi had done this in the past, let us not forget the dreaded 1 set of tyres per race rule a few years ago. With a damaged tyre Kimi chased a win until his suspension exploded and put him out of the race.
Do you really want to see and end to such obvious single mindedness towards winning?

Sorry English, but you should have trusted in Fernando Alonso... instead of Hamilton.
now you lost the championship. When Alonso leaves Mclaren, we will see if Hamilton is so good as you say...

you have learned a lesson. Good luck next time.

He is well ahead in this year's Nextel Cup without the Chase. With Hendrick Motorsports dominating again (not that I mind), is the Chase really going to benefit from the same teams winning? This is Gordon's 2nd time(2004) he will likely end with the most points with the traditional style. If traditional points still played like in Petty's and Earnhardt's times, the Nextel Cup world would be talking about Gordon tying the 2 legendary drivers with 7 Cup Championships. Anyone else still not a fan of the new Chase points system. I personally am not a fan of the top 12 starting at the same amount of points + win bonuses. The original system where there was a difference between 1st and 2nd sounds more logical still.

I've been looking at my future because I'm only 15 and I can't seem to find a career choice. The only thing that I am interested in is NASCAR so that brings me to my question. What jobs are there in NASCAR and how do you get them (like offical, flagman, working with teams, etc.).I am a really smart person and I am planning to attend college after High School.

Why are you so against Toyota racing in your series? Are you afraid of international competition? Why do you care anyway? Toyota sucks at NASCAR. And besides, even the American Le Mans Series has plenty of foreign AND American teams and cars? What is the reason that you are so afraid of another country wanting to get in the series to compete. Besides, most Toyotas are made in America anyway, and a lot of American cars are made in Canada and Mexico. So why are you so against competition which would make better competition in NASCAR? 10 points for some valid reasons.

Kimi or is it, when will we finally know, god only knows. If it turns out to be Hamilton (and I am British) it would be a travesty added to an already controversial season.

So what happens if Mclaren win the appeal, then Ferrari will appeal and so it will go on. Its frankly pathetic. What the hell is happening to F1 ???
