Lap 140--Johnson is in the lead and Gordon is running a close second. Kyle Busch is coming on strong in third place, hungry for a win. Gustafson comes on the radio and tells Kyle,
"Steve just told me that Jeff wants you to back off, because he wants to catch Jimmie."
"What!?" exclaims Kyle, "That's three weeks in a row they've told me that! This is a good car, they can't tell me not to race!"
With that the #5 car speeds up going into the corner and lifts the rear tires of the 24 off the track. Jeff swerves down trying to save the car, then goes back up the track and runs the 48 into the wall, wrecking both cars.
Just deserts, I would think.
Don't know if it would change the standings any, and if Kyle doesn't win after that, he would probably get fired on the spot, but it would still be good for a laugh.

I want Clint Bowyer to come out ahead in the pts...We need 24 & 48 to have a bad race for once.. and I would love to see Dale Jr win... But I want Bowyer to come out the leader in the pts...and Carl and Tony to get closer, lets make this a real points race not a runaway..Lets have the top 5 no more than 30 pts part going into Homestead... Then we'd really have a chase...

#48 & #24 start in the back because of finally finding the illegal Dupont products that were previously undetectible, then Johnson takes Gordon out on the first lap and they're both not able to finish the rest of the season, so Clint could get the Championship he deserves!

...I would love to see Gordon and Johnson miscalculate their fuel mileage and run out on the next to last lap with Clint Bowyer or Dale Jr winning under caution and Stewart right behind them.
...That would close the points gap and as the cars finished their final slow lap to the finish (I'm sure that would hurt losing in slow motion) then Kyle Busch would crash into Johnson.
...Just kidding, I have respect for one of our new Jimmy Johnson fans and don't want to wish anything bad out of respect for her.

I wouldn't mind seeing Kyle Petty drop out of the Top 35 in owners points. Nothing against Kyle, but he's so far off the pace every week. And, there are much better cars locked out of the top 35 that don't have the qualifying exemption he has.

Dale Jr is going to have the race of his life and win the most points in Nascar history. He will then leave Atlanta with the points lead, then go on to win the championship. The night will go down in history as the biggest comeback of all time, and Jr will forever be immortal as a race car driver.
