Yes Kimi Raikkonen deserves his champioship title. He came close twice and won six times this season. Kimi won it fair and square, so yeah the answer is yes.

Kimi deserves it and it's fair. Kimi had not done anything thT he shouldn't do in order to win teh championship. Yes, Hamilton had a good season but I think the pressure got to him during the last two races. But he still has years ahead of him adn this year has given him lots of experience. He'll be able to cope better next time

I think so. At one point it looked as though another season was going to be hampered by failing reliability issues. I think this must have affected him psychologically, along with Hamiltons runaway rookie success.
Imagine what a test it must be, to have proved that you have the potential to be quicker than the likes of Schumacher and Alonso never mind past team mates DC and JPM, but to never be sure what the car is going to do next - or what is going to break on it next - seriously demoralising!.
I think Kimis all out method of driving is particularly testing on the cars - compare DCs and JPMs retirements in the same cars. With Scuderia Ferrari's inherent tradition of tough and reliable thoroughbred F1 cars (although I'm a Mclaren fan) and now that he has won the F1 championship, finally he has achieved some kind of stability - the only thing that was lacking in his F1 career.
It goes to show, in life as long you persevere, luck will eventually swing back in your favour. It did in a big way for Kimi, don't forget he won 7 races in 2005 with no title and inspite of Pique's '86 title win, nobody has done it from being ranked 3rd going in to the final race.
Now Kimi can finally lay the demons from previous seasons to rest, expect Kimi to be consistently super competitive in 2008. As for Lewis Hamilton, he is something else, as though he is out of a time machine - returning from the future. He has all the ingredients and no doubt he will have the most exceptional career of all time - although on a good day Kimi may still prove to be quicker.
Felipe Massa is a serious contender and a sublime talent. Expect a fading Alonso in '08, still it's going to be 1helluva season!. The least explored talent out there has got to be Jenson Button, maybe one day he will get his opportunity, like Mansell did.

It's Kimi Raikkonen. And yes, he deserves it because he won it fair and square. Lewis was good but towards the end of the season he hasn't exactly performed as expected. But he should feel lucky and happy with his results; he's just a rookie and yet he's almost a world champion already. Plus, since he didn't win the title this year, at least people may back off him and give him less pressure.

Yes he won it fair and square. Being good throughout the season includes the last two races and Hamilton was not good the last two races and it cost him the championship. Kimi was better and therefore he won the championship.

Yes, absolutely, Kimi won the title fair and square, although Hamilton was good but Kimi was also racing and winning points and chased the Mclaren's untill he won the title.

of course it was fair. he won 6 races. hamilton only won 4 races. The guy at the top wins fair and square. I wanted hamilton to win but have got no complaints about kimi winning it, he drove superbly 2nd half of the season, and had it not been for some realiability trouble at the start of the season, he would of won it sooner i think.

Oh yes, he deserved it pretty much!
I am Mercedes McLarren fan, Alonso's big fan. This year's has been pretty controversial, with Stepney-gate, and although I feel it is unfair that McLarren was penalized rigorously. it is obvious they stole critical information from Ferrari, and even more implemented it in their bolids. I've heard rumours that one part of the deal was to let Ferrari and one of their drivers to let win the championships, which resulted in some serious troubles with McLarren's bolid in teh last crucial races...which was quite unusual having on mind the consistency it showed by then!
On the other hand, the Ice Man finally scored and although I don't like he drives for Ferrari, he showed good form throughout the year, and besides he won on most of the races! (6 if I am correct) while Alonso and Hamilton have 4 each. And regarding Hamilton, people should give a break. He was favourized throughout the year by his team and even by the stewards, which doesn't go well with me. And it was totally unfair for Alonso! I mean....HELLO, Alonso was world champion two years in a row!!! He came as a champion in your team, then you should have treated him like one!!!! Not favourizing a rookie!
Congratulations to Kimi Raikkonen, the Ice Man!

Kimi is yet another amazing guy, and lots loved up and down the pit lane. i became into in pit lane while he gained his international Championship. He could earn factors this 12 months, yet my spies tell me that he won't make it onto the rostrum, not to show win a race in 2012.
