Yes. It makes them look desperate! I think they should just move on and continue striving for success instead of not getting over it. Kimi won it fairly, after all.

Ron Dennis is appealing a decision that has nothing to do with his team at all, which is a shame to be honest.
Its a different thing if he came forward with some facts and protest, read the word here being protest, not appeal. He has nothing and yet went ahead to appeal.
BTW, something I'd like to point out here. Everyone seems to forget that McLaren once protest Ferrari's floor and got the FIA to change the rules. Seems like many choose to remember about McLaren being penalize for the crime they did, but completely forgets that McLaren has had their own share of protesting done and they have it their way.

Ask yourself this, would Ferrari appeal?
Damn right they would!
At the end of the day it seems pointless, as it would be a hollow victory for Mclaren & Hamilton & always remembered as he sort of won.
Hamilton will do it off his own back with no question marks!!
Hamilton does not want to win it this way.
Think it is a big waste of time & money.
Ron should concentrate on getting Mclaren in order ready for next year instead of wasting time & energy trying to win a trophy for the cabinet.
Lets hope Mclaren make some better decisions next season.

Yes that IS the sensible thing to do, but Ron still keeps on barking like a maniac, even his drivers don't want the crown through the courts, so who would he give it too if the appeal leads to points? Now everybody (me at least) is just sick of this crap and Ron says if he doesn't appeal, McLaren fans would be furious, now the McLaren fans out there, will you be furious if he doesn't appeal?

Yes they should get over it NOW,before they destroy F1`s image ..Mclaren were the ones that cheated and the FIA SHOULD have taken points away from the drivers,as they were using a car that was proven to be copied from Ferrari.why did they get to keep their points? could it have been that he is British and we all want that next British Champ? hummm..now that the team and Lewis lost the title all by themselves with there dumb *** manager and talented but still a lot to learn Driver(lewis) Ferrari and Kimi are much better and have proven it...To Mclaren SHUT UP AND IF YOU LOVE THE SPORT THEN STOP THIS NOW....what the hell does it mean when the Mclaren drivers dont want this to happen..gee I really really wish that dumb *** dick head Ron would get thrown out of F1 NOW

I think it would be better if Ron continues the appeal.
Look at the bright side: If McLaren doesn't appeal, there won't be any more suspense on who's going to win! It will be Raikkonen. No controveries whatsoever. F1 fans like us would love to see what happens right? Especially if McLaren wins theur appeal and Hamilton is crowned. Hamilton doesn't want to win it that way and neither will Ferrari give in to it. There will be more and more news instead of a boring post season!

Yes. Hamilton and Alonso have voiced out here. Hamilton has encouraged the team to drop the appeal. he doesn';t want to win the title in that manner. He prefers to win it off track. Honestly, I think he'll feel really hollow if he won the title via court. And it would be really unfair for Kimi. He's worked so hard to win the title and it could be taken away from him because of this.

i don't think they should drop it because when they were accused of spying nobody thought it was too embarrassing for the sport to continue the investigation.on the other hand, their own driver said that he did not want to win it that way and although they would benefit from the resulting constructors points i think they should take Hamilton's view on the situation into account as he represents them on the track and would most certainly come in for most of the ridicule.but that's just my opinion.

In the interests of the sport McLaren should move on. But F1 is all about business these days, the team has big sponsors to please, that supply millions of £'s in funding to them each year. Just like a normal business, McLaren has to please it's shareholders.
