i would just like to see at the least, 3 different teams in the top 3 as opposed to two teammates who will help each other out and one MAJOR underdog (who im pulling for). But man, why even watch the rest of the season?? And im SO irritated about the drama - the announcers trying to make the chase seem so exciting and dramatic. Along that same line, anyone who watched m'vill yesterday could see how Rusty and the other commentators were trying so hard to make the end of the race sound really exciting...it was another GWC (green white check.) Lets be reall here guys (commentators), call it like it is, unless you wanna sound like robots like Jeff and Jimmy (the J&J team). Im not a J&J hater but dang Jimmy sounded SO textbook after the race yesterday, just like every race he wins, he should just tape record a few lines and just run it after a win. If anyone was watching, compare it to Tony's win at the Brickyard when he dedicated that race to his fans with a nice four letter word.

Tim, im sorry you were born without a penis. And i laughed because i knew someone was going to call me a hater but what exactly IS a true nascar fan and what gives you the right to judge what a true nascar fan is??

Nope, chase isn't over till Homestead...I hope Bowyer can pull off a couple wins at the next couple tracks..Just to keep it interesting and make it closer..I'd like Carl or Smoke to get hot as well, lets not make this a give away chase, keep it close and tight..I got tired of all the cautions yesterday as well...I do not listen to the TV coverage, I have MRN going..
Come on Clint, Carl get hot win some of these last races...

I thought the tail end of the race WAS really exciting. Newman was creeping, Jeff was there, Jr. was sitting in fourth or fifth with a good car, and Jimmie was not doing real well with his restarts. Sure all those cautions were aggravating, but it also made the pack tighten up, and nobody pulling away. Anything can happen on a restart. I wish the race would have ended with more excitement. But, even using the old format without the green white checkered flag, and this race would have ended on a caution. As it is, NASCAR added laps. If you don't like the way it is now, with a couple HMR cars dominating, you would have hated the old format. Jeff Gordon would be six hundred and some points ahead, and would have had an insurmountable lead quite a few races ago.......I am a Johnson fan, and NO he doesn't do well on camera. He never has. He knows this, and has commented before that he doesn't like to be on camera talking because he can't seem to relax and be himself. I just accept that about him. I would rather watch him in a race car than on camera anyway.

NASCAR has finished some exceptionally stupid issues by using the years, however the Chase tops the checklist. If a driving force outdoors of the "magic circle" gets warm on the top of the three hundred and sixty 5 days, they don't have the prospect to get interior the appropriate ten. whether they win ten races,it makes no distinction. This truly desires to get replaced.

THE CHASE IS'T OVER BUT CLOSE.... JEFF OR JIMMIE WILL WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP
THERE ARE 4 MORE RACES...BOYER WOULD HAVE TO WIN AHEAD OF JEFF AND JIMMIE TO GET ENOUGH POINTS
IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, ONE OF THEM MAY HAVE BAD LUCK BUT NOT BOTH,
AS FAR AS NOT WATCHING THE RACE,,YOUR DRIVER MAY WIN
JEFF AND JIMMIE DON'T HAVE TO WIN EVERY RACE TO BECOME THE CHAMPION
THEY JUST HAVE TO STAY AHEAD OF BOYER
POINTS ...THERE ARE ONLY 3 IN THIS
BOYER IS NOT OUT YET BUT THE WAY JEFF AND JIMMIE IS RUNNING HE DOESN'T HAVE A CHANCE FOR I JUST DON'T SEE HIM WINNING IN FRONT OF THE 48 OR 24 FOR THE NEXT 4 RACES

Yeah you do sound fairly bitter.

Why watch the rest of the season? Because there's no telling who will win. I don't like the chase but if Gordon was as far in the lead as he WAS and there wasn't a chase.. by this time there would be a lot of people that wouldn't watch anymore because we'd already know who the winner was. Those ppl of course are not real fans to me.

The drama.. the commentators have to make it sound exciting because so many ppl are bitter about it and they are trying to show you the brighter side.. I think that'll take some time for the people who aren't really diggin the chase.

Most drivers do say the same things when they win.. that also annoys me.. but I'm sure when you win as much as Jeff and Jimmy, you eventually run out of new things to say. LOL

WOW.....Sounds to me like u are a Jeff and Jimmy hater. They have done what it takes to be up there this year and that is why it seam like they are winning everything. Yes we all know that Hendricks has some really awesome cars but, someone has to drive them, so dont take anything from them. As far as not watching, dont u are not a true nascar fan for even asking "Why watch the rest of the season". All i have to say about Tony is, Screw that damn fence climber.

I sure hope not. Jeff has been my favourite for the championship since early this season and I was alright with that until my driver became a chase factor, now with him sitting in 3rd I sure hope it's not over yet!

i agree, its become boring to watch..at least tony doesnt give the same old cookie cutter answers.. hes passionate when he wins.. even when j&j teamates are in the back of field, which isnt often cuz then we'll throw a fake yellow caution so they have a chance to scoot up, all the commentators talk about is hendricks cars.. boring....put tony in a hendricks car and see how close the points would be.. there would be no second place chaser..hes the most talented out there...

Any of the top 6 still has a shot. I do agree the races are booooring! Yesterday's race had way too many cautions at the end to make it very exciting. You can blame NASCAR for making the driver's statements robotic like. If a driver gets mad or says something bad about another driver, the rules, or the race he gets fined!
