To clarify: the drivers title has been decided at each of these two GPs on 11 occasions...

I don't know about you guys but I think that NASCAR is going a little overboard by docking a driver's points when caught "cheating". I agree with fining them and making them feel it in their wallets but stripping a driver of points that they worked hard to earn and obviously didn't obtain by cheating as they passed the inspections. I don't know maybe it's just me but I think it's crossing the line just a bit when they fine a driver thousands of dollars, dock him points, and then on top of that either a) make him start in the back of the pack or b) disqualify them and not allow them to participate at all. What do you think?

Does anyone know of a racing federation that is promoted worse than ChampCar? As bad as IRL promotion is, ChampCar is non-existent.

How do they expect to survive?

Maybe others have also realized this:
Kimi left mclaren because of its poor reliability which made him really frustrated.
Alonso joins mclaren, and suddenly mclaren turns into the renault which won last season.
Alonso won in his 2nd year with renault, which again came from nowhere.

I have to ask, do drivers have a really big influence in building their race cars, or is Alonso just lucky?

When i first came on here, this place was great. but now it seems like we spend more time talking about the trolls then we do NASCAR. its getting old now. why did these trolls all of the sudden start to pop up? Im only 16, but im a mature 16 year old. im not the average rude/punk teen like alot of them are. i do good in school, stay outa trouble, stay away from drugs/alcohol, and do nice things for people, and its sad to me to see these trolls on here who act just as imature as kids i go to school with, some are actually worse. is there any hope for these trolls going away and this forum going back to normal? these trolls are doing nothing but waisting our time and theirs.

Trolls, can you please find some other forum to go mess around in. you have been here long enough, go bug someone else, or better yet, just get off Yahoo! answers unless you are going to use it the way that it was ment to be used, to answer peoples questions in a mature, honest way.

My wife and I tend to think that FOX/FX does it best. I can't put my finger on it, but I just enjoy watching those races better than NBC/TNT or ESPN. DW is a good man in the booth, for starters. And, in general, the ads really kill the momentum of the broadcast. There are no TV timeouts to accomodate commercials. Some have suggested a split screen (or at least a ticker) that would continue over the commercials.

I think it's a shame that the coverage isn't so great, because NASCAR is a sport that really depends on the broadcast to bring the excitement into the living room.

but she is only in it for Kasey Kahne. She has no passion for the sport at all and now that Kasey has a gf, she hates him and she doesn't pay attention to racing anymore. Does this sound like a true race fan to you? Its total crap! I love this sport, I am going to the NTI and I'm going to attempt to get a job within the industry. That is how passionate I am, and people like her just make me mad! Do they make you mad?

A Junebug Fan moves to the country and decides he's going to take up farming. He heads to the local co-op and tells the man, "Give me a hundred baby chickens." The co-op man complies.

A week later the Jr. Fan returns and says, "Give me two hundred baby chickens." The co-op man complies.

A week later the Earnfardt Jr. Fan returns and says, 'Give me five hundred baby chickens."

"Wow!" the co-op man replies. 'You must really be doing well!"

"Naw," said the Junebug Fan with a sigh. "I'm either planting them too deep or too far apart."

LOL & good finish today Jr. !

Tried a different spin on a old one lol .

As I was watching the race on Sunday it seemed like they would show 10 minutes of racing and 4 minutes of commercials. I did not count to see how many laps I actually saw of the race, just seemed like alot to me. Anyone else think so?

whats the point of NASCAR suspending the crew chiefs if they are still allowed at the track, have access to alot of information through internet, and are able to comunicate with the drivers and teams? doesnt that defeat the purpose of being suspended?

Go Jeff Gordon!
